> 3 dayNice rear fan. Its quiet and does move air, great choice for quiet PC system. Since I dont need much of air pressure to pull the heat out of case, this type of fan become top choice. You can lower the rpm by software if you still sense noise.

> 3 dayBought this fan also with a pair of 140mm fans of this same family.

> 3 dayExtremely quiet! Moves a lot of air. Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM) controllable. The Redux version of Noctuas fans are more reasonably priced than the full retail version and they are gray instead of tan. Its a win-win in my book. I have 4 of these in my PC setup and they are dead silent. In fact only the two on my CPU cooler even run most of the time and they only have to run at 30% to keep the overclocked i7 processor cool.

> 3 dayI added one of these to my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO heat sink to have a double fan set up cooling my overclocked i5. The fans are excellent - really quiet, efficient, effective, and generally look really sleek. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to upgrade the stock fans or just add some extra cooling to their machine!

> 3 dayThis thing moves some air, no doubt. I have Corsair HD-series intake fans on my case and use this one as the exhaust fan - I can watch temps dip when it fires up. At up max speed, its almost silent. Anything under 1000rpm and it is silent. Highly recommended if you need to move some air.

> 3 daySo quiet. I used this to replace a 20dB fan in a NAS in my bedroom. It is so quiet that I was not sure if it was running at first. After opening the case to verify, I was happy to see that Noctua has improved upon their already amazing line of computer fans. The added ability for this fan to be controlled by the motherboard was great because I use a minimal Linux system and do not have room for a dedicated fan controller. I have not found any problems with the fan so far, and it has been running continuously since the day I received it.

Greater than one weekIve seen tests and reviews of this fan, but plugging it in and putting my hand over it to feel airflow...my corsair fans and old scythe fan (which i was replacing) have twice the airflow as this one. It comes in a nice box, it has a long lead with nice insulation, but airflow is the reason i buy fans. This fan has a very aggressive blade pitch so I was expecting very high cfm output even at low RPM but in reality I just dont see it.
