I was worried that this might be too loud. I am happy with it. I bought 4 fans for my new desktop and they are great.

The different pitch with fewer blades moves the air more effectively and seems to be just as quiet as upscale case cooling fans. The price on Amazon was reasonable too. I am pleased.

Works good, though nothing stellar about it. I have some nicer and cheaper fans that performs better.

Extremely quiet! Moves a lot of air. Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM) controllable. The Redux version of Noctuas fans are more reasonably priced than the full retail version and they are gray instead of tan. Its a win-win in my book. I have 4 of these in my PC setup and they are dead silent. In fact only the two on my CPU cooler even run most of the time and they only have to run at 30% to keep the overclocked i7 processor cool.

Are these fans running? I have to look or feel for a breeze to find out! I have never been good looking, or popular but ever since I got these fans I have been Super Cool!

So quiet. I used this to replace a 20dB fan in a NAS in my bedroom. It is so quiet that I was not sure if it was running at first. After opening the case to verify, I was happy to see that Noctua has improved upon their already amazing line of computer fans. The added ability for this fan to be controlled by the motherboard was great because I use a minimal Linux system and do not have room for a dedicated fan controller. I have not found any problems with the fan so far, and it has been running continuously since the day I received it.

I finally gave into the hype and picked up Noctua fans for my PC after having one of them come with my 3D printer. I must say that these easily beat any other fan that Ive had and I have not been skimpy on the budget in the past, either. Built quality is top notch and the sound is non-existent. I noticed that when falling short on fan screws, I had another fan that would vibrate just enough to cause noise because it had only 2 screws. I took 2 screws off the Noctua fan and used them on the other fan. Being positioned the exact same way, the Noctua fan does not have any vibration on only 2 screws whereas my other high-cost fan does. Anecdotal, but interesting comparison.

I replaced a much stronger noctua fan that sounded like a jet. Sure it pushed a lot of air but so does this one and its nearly silent at max rpm. I play my PC games on my couch about 6-7 feet from my PC which has 4 of these and I cant hear it...at all
