> 3 dayI just finished installing this on my floor pan. My jeep looks like a satellite. I cant comment about its sound deadening yet as I still plan to put there foam down and then my carpet and seats. The mat is as thick or thicker than dynamat extreme but much cheaper. Also cheaper than raamat. There is no odor. Other than the foil, I see no real physical differences with high price audio mat. It shipped in a flat box of 9 sheets , which I liked, my dynamat was rolled in a tube and all wrinkled. Also the foil has an embossed grid pattern to let you know if you rolled it out good. Well that grid also makes cutting and measuring super easy for straight cuts. Some commented it was too sticky to work with. I had no problems. I did leave it in my air conditioned apartment and just worked one sheet at a time. I was able to peel it up and reposition if I didnt push it down. Once you roll it out though its not coming off. Wear gloves, the aluminum is soft, it could still have sharp edges, if not something on your car will. Also get a heavy duty roller. Not plastic. You need to put a bit of pressure if you want if to stick good. I ended up buying a 4 hard rubber brayer on amazon. Works great. Overall very happy with purchase. As long as price stays low Ill buy this again if I do another vehicle.

> 3 dayThe hype is real with this product. I did the outer and inner skin of all 4 doors in my wagon. Ended up using 7.5 of the 9 sheets in the box. Using a utility knife and occasionally scissors this stuff was easy to cut. Lots of videos online showing tracing shapes using the vapor barrier from the door or plastic sheets with a sharpie to get outlines and transfering that. Honestly that is all overkill. The process of installing this deadening material is way easier than I thought it would be. The aluminum backing dents easily so you can use a tape measure to get a rough idea, make the cut, then test fit. In the door panel just bent around stuff and make more cuts as needed. The tools I ended up using were utility knife scissors alcohol and a rag for cleaning prep wooden roller tape measure The results are beyond what I expected. The doors are so much quieter now that I have a sensation my car got slower because I am not getting as much audible feedback of wind, road, engine, exhaust, tire noise. It is a bit creepy how much quieter the drive got. This was part of a car audio install which included new speakers. The speakers are running at 110w RMS. The midbass power and detail of sound is phenomenal. I can turn up the volume all the way with zero rattles. Listening while driving down the road even at lower volumes sounds like the entire world disappeared. Just the music coming out of the doors. Great product.

> 3 dayWe did the floor, firewall, roof and the underside of the metal dash in our 63 1/2 Galaxie and the difference in sound levels before and after were HUGE. Even with most of the interior still out it is now possible to carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to you without yelling.
