I used this to soundproof the refrigerator compartment in my RV. The fridge had two OEM fans that were about a foot from my head when I worked at the computer in my dinette. There was nothing between me and the fans but 1/8 of plywood. I now have 5 Noctua fans in the compartment and I have to put my ear up to the wall to tell if theyre on or not. This stuff is very easy to work with and I didnt notice any odor. Its also very reasonably priced compared to most soundproofing material. One word of warning, the adhesive is very hard to clean up and when you pull off the paper backing, some of it will stick to the backing. If you drop the backing on the carpet and step on it, its pretty tough to remove (dont ask me how I know). Be aware that this stuff is heavy and will add some weight to whatever you stick it to. I only wish they sold it in smaller amounts. I could use a sheet or two more of it but dont want to buy 6 sheets again.

Great adhesive quality and easy to deal with. Really helped with the noise reduction and heat.

Take your time, get extra door panel clips, wear latex gloves. First-make a paper template for each location because easier to maneuver. Second- start with the inside of the door skin. You dont have to get every square inch, just do your best. Third-roll it down after each section. I used a wood roller and it works just fine. Forth-cover all unused openings and holes on the metal the door panel attaches to. Fifth-cover it back up with the original plastic, paying attention to the wires needed to plug in for the Window, Lock, Outside Mirror, Speaker, etc. Finish- use New door panel clips before reinstalling. Lastly-get extra bandaids for your cuts on your arms and hands.
