I was talking to my eye doctor about how dry my eyes are and it’s hard to wear contact lenses all day. He recommended me to start taking some omega 3 supplements, and this is the specific brand he recommended. It’s been a little over a month now since I started taking them. I take one in the morning and one at night, and I do feel some improvement with my dry eye. I wish the pills were a bit smaller so it would be easier to swallow but I like this one because it’s not fishy whatsoever, especially after it dissolves in my stomach. The capsules also has a bit of lemon taste which I like.

No bad smell, breath or burps. I think some unsatisfied people are not taking with food as directed. It does take 4 daily, instead of two, to achieve recommended daily amount of Omega 3. Solid product; recommend.

First, Im not sure why pain relief is listed as a category for which stars can be awarded for this product- I dont believe its indicated to be effective for use in such a manner. Ive been supplementing with this specific brand and type of Omega 3s for about nine or so years now. I find that the main benefits I receive are a noticable stabilization of my mood swings (Im diagnosed bipolar, and prefer to take the least amount of pharmaceutical drugs as possible), and a lessening of brain fog (I also have fibromyalgia). The other benefits are subtle- you cant exactly pin down what they are, but you definitely notice when youre not taking them. When Ive gone through difficult financial times in the past I would give up other things in order to continue taking this- its effects are not dramatic, but they make a big impact on my quality of life. This being said, they are quite large pills, and may be difficult for some to swallow, but the company makes a version of Omega 3s that comes in much smaller pills, so theres an option for those who have difficulty with the large size of many supplements.

For whatever reason, Amazon wont allow a return OR a refund on this item. Ive purchased it before and its always fine. The capsules are large but I dont have trouble with them. The latest shipment arrived and appears normal, but all the capsules are stuck together in the bottle - I have a really difficult time just getting one of them out. And for the first time, they smell fishy. That is unusual for this product and its part of why I like it - no fishy odor or taste. Not this batch. But I cant return it, and its not inexpensive.

My optometrist highly recommended this specific brand.
