After installing the product, the internet stopped responding quickly. The connection is hanging while Norton is doing something. When I turned it off, the internet begins connecting. I had expected that the antivirus/VPN/malware protector would run silently without interfering with the performance of your computer. It does not seemed to be the case because by the time it connects to VPN-Internet-Wi-Fi [I personally do not know the sequence of how it is getting connected] you should be ready to give birth. Also, live updates connected to Wi-Fi on the phone too. Thus, if you are not connected to Wi-Fi, you are not getting updates. I loved Norton before. Now, I have serious doubts about the performance & quality. It might improve with updates, but not it is a struggle based upon my experience.

I ordered from Amazon and the card key came in 2 days. I tried to get platinum but Amazon would not bill it to my card and Amazon CS couldnt see why, as premium billed immediately. Install without deleting my old Norton was easy and no problems. It takes a few minutes for the Norton 360 to show in the bottom right on win10. My VPN is seriously questionable though. Do a speedtest, note the good speeds without VPN enabled. Enable VPN and do a speedtest. Mine for wireless drops from some 50/60%. I verified this of several wireless devices. Plus in the speedtest it shows, with VPN enabled, the cities for the test in Ohio or Kansas - Im in Memphis and always test in memphis - unless the VPN is on. AND, the VPN enabled shows in the lower left of the speedtest that Im routed to AMAZON!! When VPN is off it shows Xfinity. I might suggest buying from Norton and go through their servers for VPN, I HAVE TO ASSUME IT WOULD GO THROUGH NORTON SERVERS, but as I see it, Im routed through Amazon with VPN on and the drop I get is totally unacceptable and I seriously doubt they have customer service who would know anything about the VPN and servers. I get Norton protection, 10 devices, and with VPN my internet speeds are all but dead. My attachments show the Amazon in lower left when VPN is enabled.

The software arrived quickly, best off all it had the 10 license I needed. If you buy or renew from Norton, they want 2 to 4 times the money for the same product. I usually find this item cheaper at BestBuy or online. It has the full suite of protection for all you devices. It works on Phones, desktops and Laptops. Great buy

I HATE this software because they are constantly pushing Norton add ons. For as much as you pay per year, I shouldnt have to buy any add ons. But every day they are popping up trying to get me to purchase another type of add on. I do feel like it protects all our devices. But the bombardment of ads is unconscionable.

I try to stick with Norton for one distinctive function...backups. I am ensured that I have a good backup if needed. However, It is very annoying that Norton will try and force you into auto renewal.

This was a tremendous value - you get so many more services from Norton in this version than previous years, including Lifelock monitoring and protection. Our family uses so many devices now, this covers all of em with a couple to spare just in case we add another tablet or phone. Like the service I get and the ability to tune up my PC. Also love the VPN protection on mobile devices because it protects us so much better when we use public wifi at hotels or airport. Just great. Im okay with auto-renewal feature, by the way, because Norton has been really good about notifying ahead of time so that I have time to shop for a better price (as I did this time around)! Easy install. Whats not to like?

First - Nortons the best - always has been, I also use Malwarebytes and together they havent missed a thing for many, many years. Now... The claim is that you have to use a valid credit card to activate this and then you can go in and easily deactivate auto-renew. I tried using a Visa gift card - even one with a valid address and they wont accept those so had to use a real one. I dont want auto-renew as I dont want to pay 5 times the price one year from now - if this wasnt a scam then they would not be forcing it upon us. Now comes that easy part where you deactivate auto-renew right away - not gonna happen. The belief is youll just give up and forget about it and get slammed one year from now at a much higher price than you just finished paying today. Who knows, maybe in a year youll actually think, oh, that was nice of them and oh so easy, I didnt have to do anything accept pay a huge bill Stay the course - dont give up, after about 3 on line help sessions those elusive buttons that simply didnt seem to work will be activated for you by someone in India whos never heard of this before - trust me, this is the only thing these fellows have ever heard of. Ill be reading many reviews next year of other anti-virus software if this insane thing is still being force fed by Norton as, in my opinion, this is just about as bad as the viruses you bought it to protect you from.
