> 3 dayI was instructed to take these by my doctor but to be honest, I dont think Id know if it works unless I get more blood tests done, which is sooo not happening (Im not a fan of needles >w< haha) The product itself is what it is though so all I can do is really assume it contains all the good stuff it says it does. Otherwise, the pills look like little tiny gel beads and go down smoothly with an adequate amount of water (normal swallowing amount works just fine), and the only negative-ish comment I have about it is that it has a bit of a fishy smell if you ever take a whiff of it. It doesnt TASTE like fish (though Ive never exactly bit the pill apart; only swallowed), but if you just smell it with all the beads in the container, they compound to equate fish-stank.

> 3 dayI didnt know brand mattered with supplements, but it really does. I was taking some unknown brand of vitamin D (5000 units) and my yearly bloodwork still came back insufficient. So I did the research I should have done the first time and came upon NOW brand. After taking the 5000u pills every day for about two months, my recheck bloodwork is now well within normal range for Vitamin D! I learned my lesson, no more shady supplement brands ever again.

> 3 dayI used to take 2,000 iu per day of Vitamin D. I had my blood tested after several months and the levels were still well below the ideal range. I started taking these and incredibly, although better than before, still a bit short of that ideal range. I now alternate between 1 and 2 of these pills per days, so averaging 7500 iu per day. Will have my blood tested again in a few months. I dont get much sun, so that of course has something to do with it.

> 3 dayIve tried several different brands. This is the first time my blood test came back with an acceptable vitamin D level. Well actually, my doctor put me on a slow release 50,000 IU vitamin D that I took just once a week and it took me too high. Since I was worried about vitamin D overdose, I switched to 5000 IU daily which seems to be perfect if it is this brand. So my husband started to take these too and although it took him a bit longer (not having taking the high hit slow release), he has now reached optimum vitamin D levels too. Ive learned the hard way to take only all natural vitamins and that it is important to stick to really good brands. I think this company usually satisfies those demands.
