Took it down the river once already, works great. It was a hot day, and I didnt ever notice it really. There are a lot of adjustments on it, so I was able to tweak it so it was low and out of my way when paddling. The outfitter that shuttles us requires a whistle, so having one tied to this already was great. The pocket doesnt have a ton of room for much else, but you could sneak a few things in there. Theres also a nice attachment point on the front I havent used yet, but will likely tie/attach some of my often used fishing tools to.

I really like this west. It has all I need and it does not give me blisters when paddling!!! I like the whistle pocket, I like the adjustment option both on shoulder and waist. I like the airy netting in the back that also helps it not to glide up. All in all I am happy with my purchase and absolutely recommend it for other padlers out there!!!
