I cannot say for how well this vest holds you up in water as I have not gone overboard yet, but I can attest to how comfortable it is as compared to other jackets. I very much like the thin shoulder straps and the cut of the arm holes which keep the padding out of the way when paddling your kayak. The pocket is sort of small but can be good for holding an ID card and a set of keys. The straps do not slip with constant movement so the vest stays snug on your body throughout the day.

Fits comfortably in the house! :) Lots of arm room for paddling my kayak and the right price! It has not been water tested yet as I live in Minnesota and it is January!!!!
