> 3 dayDisappointed that this projector got a couple of dead pixels just after a month and kept gradually increasing. Now there are 6 prominent bright dead pixels and numerous gray ones. At a higher brightness, the projector makes a lot of fan noise.

Greater than one weekGreat Value for picture quality. however the UI for menu is very archaic. one of the reasons i bought this projector was for the HDMI CEC, but this projectors CEC was compatible with Roku Streambar Pros HDMI ARC. This unit also only has a 3.5 stereo jackpot audio output. for $600 i would expect to have at least an optical output or 12v trigger output.

> 3 dayI tried out a couple less expensive (cheap) projectors before purchasing the Optoma. Ill just say you get what you pay for.... This one is 100% better than the others. Great picture, color is good, motion is good, and brightness is good. I have it projecting on a 150 screen and it looks great. Focus is good from corner to corner (the cheap ones you kind of have to pick which part of the screen you want to be in focus...) I havent tried 3D yet, but am looking forward to it. The projector was supposed to just be for fun to watch a movie on every once in a while, but has now become the go to every night.

> 3 dayHad to return this product because the fan was too loud. Also, the sound on it was not very good. Picture was good though, but I dont think I will go with this brand again.

Greater than one weekI have purchased three different Optima projectors and have installed two other optima projectors in friends homes and have been very satisfied until this one. My first lemon from Optima. Fan is very loud‼️I am preparing to send it in for a second time to be repaired

> 3 dayIve had this projector for a month and its been overall amazing. For those on the fence about buying this, go ahead and get it!! Coming from a 65 inch 4k tv, this is a huge upgrade in my opinion. Im running 135 inch screen and that movie theater feel is amazing! The HDR DOES make the picture look better, even though hdr isnt the greatest on projectors. Colors look more saturated and pop more.

> 3 dayThis is not a regular-use projector. Better for special occasions. I would use this as often as most people would use their TV. Less than 2 years of use and there are new dead pixels every month. I’m up to 9 now. If you’re going to buy this for regular use, it would be worth an extended warranty. You will need to return it after about a year.

> 3 dayI LOVED my Benq. But this Optoma projector definitely has less rainbow effect than the similarly featured Benq projector.
