> 3 dayThis is an awesome projector: Weve watched movies and Ive played Destiny 2 and it has adjusted to the different requirements wonderfully. I really havent noticed a difference in quality from playing on a large screen tv to the projector -- a very smooth gaming experience. My one complaint is the lack Bluetooth technology that would allow us to connect the sound system and not need to have all these additional wires and extensions to be able to get a sound that matches the image.

> 3 dayI recently purchased a projector from optoma. I head a pop and saw a flame. I asked for a return and they refused. If you accidentally leave it on at night it could cause a fire. This product is not safe and should not be purchased or sold.

> 3 dayHad it for a month so far and very pleased, far better than the dated one I replaced. Bolted right up to old universal mount. I dont use the volume on it, so cant comment on that. As far as fan noise, we dont notice it when watching movies/playing games. Only downside: mine turned on without giving option for language, took me a while to figure out how to get it back to English...that and no directions in the box is really annoying...will update later if needs be.

> 3 dayGreat projector for gaming (Call of Duty) and movies! I don’t have windows in the room where it’s set up, but I do have to dim the lighting to get the best picture...I have the projector approximately 11’ from my screen and not sure how it would do in my living room where it’s bright out during the day. I may attempt in the future to set it up there and see how it does- if so I’ll repost the results. Otherwise a great projector!

> 3 dayWe set this up in a very bright church auditorium and it was bright enough to see plainly. When we dimmed the front lights the picture was very detailed. I used powered fiber optic cables to go the 50 needed to the projector.

> 3 dayAt 600 bucks you can’t go wrong with this sure you can pay 2000 and 3000 but I don’t think it’s worth it. I bought $120 projector and it was really good. I was surprised I got this one and it has a few more shells and whistles, but as far as the picture quality, it probably went from 82% to 95%. I bet if I got a projector that was $3000 it probably be another 5% better but after a few days, I’m not sure I would really notice that much. So far this is held up if it breaks down and starts getting crappy. I’ll do a new review I’m really happy this really has helped increase our entertainment pleasure.

18-04-2025I loved my old Optoma projector so when it died, I purchased this one to upgrade in a similar price range and quality. The machine is beautiful and the picture quality is fantastic, however - the design is absolutely non-sensical. On the back of the machine there are two legs but only one of them is adjustable, the other is fixed. So if you want to adjust the angle of the image to your wall, good luck, your only option is a lopsided picture because only one legs height can be adjusted. The other leg is fixed, you cant screw it in or out to adjust height. If someone can explain to me how this is sensible design, Id love to know. I am in disbelief. I also reached out to Optoma support to inquire about this, and I was not given any solution or reasoning, just a yea thats weird design, but I dont know why and its not my job to know, Ill pass it along to the team. Lol. What a joke.
