We have a Oral-B iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush and these toothbrush replacement heads are compatible with it. (We also own a decades old Oral-B electric toothbrush that is a basic model and these replacement heads are not compatible with it.) You get 2 brush heads in a pack. These brush heads are a little bit bigger in terms of area it can cover on your teeth and gums when comparing it to other brush heads for electric toothbrushes. These brush heads are identical to the brush heads that come with the iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush.

With the iO, my teeth feel really clean. It is designed to encourage you brush for at least 2 minutes. The brush is round and allows you to cover and clean each surface of each tooth each time you brush each tooth. Good design and engineering. Precision manufacturing. And if you do it right, a SMILE appears in the window on the front! Can you imagine a toothbrush that affirms what a GOOD person you are, each and every time you use it for 2+ minutes? WOW! I know this sounds a little facetious ( its the Smile!) but it cleans my teeth well, its pricey but worth it, and when it needs replacing, I will buy another pricey one because its worth every penny.

So the price tag on these refills for the already expensive IO toothbrush is akin to top brand razor blade refills and printer ink cartridge refills. If theyre going to charge this much for toothbrush heads, they should cut the price of the IO toothbrush in half like razor blade and printer companies do. Ridiculous. $15 every 3 months = $200 + $60 a year for refills = $260. Thats an extra dental cleaning. You do the math and decide how you want to spend that money. The refills work fine. But the extortion makes you dislike the brand and angry you bought the $200 toothbrush in the first place. Its bad business.

These are the same heads that come with the toothbrush. They are great heads, they are just soft enough and vibrate and spin when brushing. My teeth feel nice and smooth using these on the Oral-B iO series 7.

It grew mold and I clean it out and take off the brush head all the time. Now i do it everytime. I took off the brush head and there was legit black mold that is still coming out. That is so weird and I’m thinking it’s because there is a gap and a lot of water comes in. So gross and unsafe.

Good quality replacement. Makes your teeth feel so clean.
