> 24 hourI wouldnt say theres anything particularly remarkable about this cable, but I would still recommend this over no-name ones purely for security reasons. This is capable of data transfer, and the paranoid part of me isnt comfortable with buying generic cables for that reason. While I have no reason in particular to trust Otterbox, it is a reputable brand that is known for quality.

> 24 hourThis cord charges fast. What I like about it beyond that is that it is well-made. Too often the ends of charging cords start to come apart. So far, this one bends easily and it looks sturdier than the other cord I have. Otterbox makes excellent phone cases so it is no surprise they make good cables too.

> 24 hourI’m pleased with the quality and function of this 2M (6.6 ft) OtterBox USB-A to USB-C cable. It looks well built and secure at the connectors, and the cable has a sturdy look and feel. This cable has a better quality appearance than the generic USB-A to USB-C cable I’m replacing with it that was included with a “no name” Mag Safe charging stand I bought to charge my iPhone 14 Pro and Apple Watch. This cable can’t plug into my iPhone 14 Pro or iPad mini 5 as they still use lightning to USB cables. But it’s a better quality cable to use with related accessories. My Mag Safe charging stand included a QC3.0 USB-A fast charging Adapter (not an Apple charger) that plugs into the wall and a 1M cable that’s too short for my needs and looks basic in terms of quality. I’m using this OtterBox cable instead as it’s 2x the length, so I could move my charging stand bedside and hide the cable behind my night stand. The larger USB-A side of this OtterBox cable plugs into the wall Adapter, and the USB-C side plugs into the stand. This OtterBox cable functions perfectly with my Mag Safe charging stand. In addition to the added length, I also have more confidence using the OtterBox cable instead of the generic one as I have more trust in a brand name and have been pleased with the quality of their accessories in the past. I can’t say how this cable will hold up from bending as I haven’t had it long and am not using it plugged into a handheld device, which is how my other cables end up bending a lot and eventually pull apart. I can say that the cable feels flexible instead of stiff and appears to be a sturdy, better quality cable overall as compared to my generic cable. Recommended. 5 stars.

> 24 hourIve purchased a few USB-C cords from various companies in the last couple of years, and lets just say some of the off-brand ones are having some issues with bending, as in the rubber near the head of the cable start to tear and rip and the wires show. Once that happens, I toss it. So far, the Otterbox cable is holding up well and showing no signs of wear, which is exactly as I want. I am also not getting the slow charge warnings anymore. The storefronts, especially the e-tailers, are filled with no-brand type cords, and I am starting to notice the quality difference. I just need a few more of these to replace my other subpar purchses.

> 24 hourThis cable appears to be very flexible and sturdy with good strain relief. It transfered photos very quickly from my samsung phone to my desktop. When connected to a fast charging power supply, my phone went into fast charge mode as expected and completed charging very quickly. Overall, its a very good cable.

> 24 hourOtterboxs USA-A to USB-C cable doesnt do anything different than a generic cable would, it just does it better. Its more durable, it doesnt kink, and it connects super-securely to transfer both power and data. The lifetime warranty shows how confident Otterbox is in their product. Im not going to knock you if you get generic cables for some applications; heck, I have a bunch. But if you need a cable you absolutely know you can depend on and are willing to shell out some extra money for, this is it.

> 24 hourThe cord is thicker and does not have the floppy, super flexible feel to it of the OEM cord that came with my iPad. It has a nice Velcro strap attached for wrapping. Everything about it feels well made. The box states a more than 3,000 bends so I am looking forward to having this for a long while.

> 24 hourLove this cable! I can actually use my devices when I have them charging thanks to the length (2M) but it’s not so long that it gets in the way. The braided nylon cable seems like it would last longer than other cables. The ends are well-reinforced well past the connection and don’t look likely to fray after repeated uses. Even with the length, I don’t see a difference in charging time, but I didn’t actually test the times. It comes with a piece that holds the cable together when rolled – I like it better than Velcro because it doesn’t stick to anything else when I toss it in the drawer. I highly recommend it.
