OtterBox USB-A to USB-C Cable, 2M - Black

I wouldnt say theres anything particularly remarkable about this cable, but I would still recommend this over no-name ones purely for security reasons. This is capable of data transfer, and the paranoid part of me isnt comfortable with buying generic cables for that reason. While I have no reason in particular to trust Otterbox, it is a reputable brand that is known for quality.

I got the 3M version of this cable, since I wanted a longer cable to charge my PlayStation 5 controller while I play. The white color goes well with the console and the controller, and Im pretty happy with the quality. I didnt test charging speed, since the controller doesnt fast charge, but otherwise it has worked well to charge the controller. The outer casing of the cable seems durable, as do the connectors. I really like the little doodad that keeps the cable together when you spool it up also.

Otterboxs USA-A to USB-C cable doesnt do anything different than a generic cable would, it just does it better. Its more durable, it doesnt kink, and it connects super-securely to transfer both power and data. The lifetime warranty shows how confident Otterbox is in their product. Im not going to knock you if you get generic cables for some applications; heck, I have a bunch. But if you need a cable you absolutely know you can depend on and are willing to shell out some extra money for, this is it.

OtterBox USB-A to USB-C Cable, 3M, Black - works as expected. This cable connects an USB-A port to an USB-C port. My cable is 3 meters in length so I wont be stuck with a short cable. Other lengths are available. The cable is nice and thick and it is flexible. It has a good exterior coating for a quality feel and finish. The connections at the ends are well coated and should not have issues with bending and eventually breaking. The velcro tie is handy for securing excess length. I been having trouble with a couple of cables and their connections bending and the wires breaking. I decided to get some better quality cables and I hope these Otterbox cables will fill the bill and last.

I really like this cable. Its very high quality and well made. Its stiff, and should keep from fraying over use & bending, but not too stiff where you cant coil it. It comes with a very nice rubber strap to help keep it organized when not in use. Awesome cable!

Both the cable and connectors are very strong and durable, if you have a high use environment, this is going to work perfectly for you.

Ive used this cable to charge my S21 and found it compatible. My phone charged at its normal rate, so this isnt a fast charging cable. The length is just right for plugging it in beside my bed at night so I can still use it comfortably while lying down. Since it isnt fast charging, I ended up using it to power my indoor security camera. I needed a cable longer than what the manufacturer supplied and this worked well for that purpose. No issues, seems durable and does what it should. Other cheaper cables work just as well, but I do like the Otter Box brand.

In the tradition of the OtterBox brand, this is a thick, substantial cable. It fits snuggly into my devices and the ends seem to be reinforced to prolong the life of the cable and avoid failures and breakage. Recommended.
