> 24 hourI recently got a used 2009 Mac Pro in which some idiot had thrown away the old hard drive WITH the mounting bracket. But the brackets were all for 3 1/2 drives anyhow, and I wanted to put in a SATA SSD as a boot drive. Havent got the drive yet (too busy doing all the other upgrades), but the bracket slotted right into the hole. The blue color definitely stands out. I think I like it.

> 24 hourI love my 2010 MAC PRO and refuse to let it die. For me, the new Mac Pro.s, though impressive, are completely out of the ballpark when it comes to ROI. Therefore, I continue to rely on my 2010 MAC Pro for my day-to-day computing needs (Im running Mojave and Windows 10, each on their own drives. Windows is installed raw, w/o Bootcamp). I wanted and needed to upgrade to using SSDs so I bought a couple of OWCs 2.5 inch drive sleds. They work perfectly! Theyre well made and easy to install. I now have 1TB drives running both my OSs. I also like the blue color of the sleds. It makes it easy to differentiate my regular drives from my SSD drives. If youre contemplating upgrading to SSDs in your 2010-2012 Mac Pro, then this is an absolute must have! I highly recommend this product!

> 24 hourFirst attempt to add a new drive to my Mac Pro. Extraordinarily easy. Once the ssd and drive sled arrived, all I had to do was secure the drive to the sled with the 4 screws provided, insert the sled/drive into the Mac Pro and power it up. Had to format the drive and everything works as it should. Way easier to do than I expected.
