adjusting it is easy, using it is easy, build quality is very good, its light, its blue Not a complicated device but this is a well thought out version and I wouldnt build a wheel without it

Bought the portable version. Hated it. It would flex. Spent the extra money on this one because it doesn’t flex. With the new hub designs, the old style triangle piece doesn’t work so this slider bar is the way to go

This is a well constructed tool that works very well. As a Pro wheel builder, you have to have this (or equivalent). However, a Pro Quality truing stand can get so close that this becomes more of a final check. I dont want to discount the value of this tool, but with other (high quality) wheel tools, this would be lower on my list of (higher-end) shop tools. No matter how accurate the wheel, I prefer to finfish the wheel in the actual bike.

The first time I used this otherwise nicely-made tool it was apparent that the knob that secures the depth feeler was difficult to adjust just right so that the feeler didnt move when I secured it for depth. I added a stainless steel 10 mm I.D. washer between the knob and the feeler and that solved the problem (the washer fits exactly within the recess in which the feeler slides). I can now adjust the knob so that the feeler slides easily for depth, and then tighten the knob just a bit to hold the feeler without it moving off the depth setting. A 17 cent fix that I would recommend you try. P.S. (The manual doesnt mention that the slider blocks can be secured for width by slightly tightening the screws on the bottom).

Simple, easy and effective dishing tool. Sturdy and can be used with the tire on or off. Three adjustment points and delivered with instructions.

Probably not the best bang for the buck, but worked fine to verify that all my wheels are probably dished

This performs as advertised. That being said, it feels cheap and is not up to the standard I expect from Park. But it does work, so Im keeping it.
