Patriot Memory Signature Line DDR4 8GB 2133MHz SODIMM Memory Module - PSD48G213381S

I ordered this stick of ram for my ASUS Vivobook 15 and received DDR3 instead of DDR4. The DDR3 doesnt fit. Unfortunately I had thrown out the box and container before I realized it and cant return it. So now Im stuck with a lovely silicon paperweight. :/

Worked great in my Lenovo Legion

Asus F512D comes with 4 GB soldered into the motherboard and only one free slot. For some reason Asus recommends only 8 GB of memory for this slot, but on Crucials website they recommend 16 GB for this laptop . Crucial was out of this particular module here on Amazon. So I ended up getting this module and its recognized very well. There a significant improvement in performance especially running games. I am real happy with this purchase.

Product performed as expected, in a Linux install on a NUC 8. Great value for the money.

Worked great in my Alienware Alpha R2. Wont be able to use full speed, but for the price it was a fair deal compared to other competitors.

Installed in laptop, worked perfectly from the boot up. Acts great now!

At time of this post (12/17/19) no long term testing, simply proof of concept. It is validated that if you plug this memory stick into a Qnap TS-932x it will work(see photo), however not sure of stability & reliability. Note, that you need to remove the 3.5 drives to access the memory(see photo), no tools necessary.

As I said in the headline, Good memory, quick delivery priced right. Will buy from them again.
