Photomatix Pro 6

Photomatix is a good program and easy to use. It does a good job of bridging with Lightroom, making it easy to move back and forth between them.

It`s a buyer`s market- I`ve tried a few of the trials- some better than others - but I plumped for Photomatix mainly for ease of use- bonus was the selection tool + plus there`s some pretty neat B&W+ Sepia to be had-Yeah I`m well pleased

I have been editing my pictures with this software and the quality I get is very good.The presets are very useful and you can make adjustments.Also you can edit black and white image too

Sicherlich kann man fragen, ob bei ausgefeilten Bildbearbeitungsprogrammen noch Photomatix als HDR-Software erforderlich ist. Die Antwort ist ganz klar: Ja! Das Programm ist leicht zu verstehen und macht einfach Freude, gut investiertes Geld für den ambitionierten Photographen.

Zuvor informiert man sich, was das Produkt leisten wird, und dann stellt man fest, dass alles seine Ordnung hat. Ein kleines Heft mit Anleitung in deutscher Sprache (wie bestellt) und Screenshots und vor allem dem Lizenzschlüssel lag bei. Was will man mehr. Alles korrekt.

Firstly, something about myself to put the review in perspective. I am a serious amateur as well as a photography student. I am not new to HDR photography. I was mainly using Photoshop Elements to merge the different exposures and then processing the resultant image as like any other. I wasnt doing tone mapping specifically other than what was part of my post processing flow in Elements.
