PORTERS Liniment Salve, 2 Count

My great grandma used to use this on me when I was a baby for diaper rashes back in the early sixties. I still use it! This salve is great for stickers, esp. in kids, its a drawing salve, put it on, wrap in bandaid, and voila, its gone the next morning. I use it now because Ive had surgery, and have wound care and am constantly breaking down from the tape, use it for a day, and again, viola, its gone. This salve is the greatest, it should still be on the shelves of all pharmacies all over the country!

Ive used it since I was a kid and that was a long time ago. I recommend this to everyone. Im just sorry that none of my local stores carry it anymore. I have very dry skin and my feet and hands crack all year long I wouldnt know what to do without this terrific old time product. Even with it having a little odor its worth it for the relief and quick healing. It is great for drawing slivers out also.

Stinky but AMAZING! This is the best salve for cuts, bites, scrapes, ingrown nails, everything! Although I haven’t tried it on broken bones. I do usually put a bandaid over it to prevent smearing.

We love this product. Goes back many generations in my family. We use on everything from minor scraps to bruises and even eases the pain of pimples.

Our family has been using this salve for over 60 years. It is great for finger cracks in the winter, and any cut that is sore. It used to be sold in drug stores, so I was happy to get it from Amazon! It has analgesic qualities so it heals and takes pain away as well. The original purpose was for the cows teats as a treatment for their udders. Cant find anything else that works as good as this salve! I happen to be a little weird, because I love the smell! It doesnt bother me at all. You really dont need a lot of it for healing a cut or cracked fingers.

Love this product. All you do is cover area with product & a bandaid. The next morning it will pull a splinter out or it will pull infection out or it will take the redness out of skin problems.

Been using this product for 30 years and you cannot beat it for fixing cuts, stings, abarasions or any other external problem. Most people would go to a doctor whereas we use Porters Salve to take care of the problem. About the only thing it has not fixed is a yellow jacket sting.

I grew up in a family that did not go to doctors or the E.R. for hardly anything. My mom put Porters on almost everything first. Pleasant smell. Pulls out infection. Helps things heal fast with minimal scarring.

I hope they never quit making this or change the formula, it is amazing! I use it on any skin ailments. Works in 24 - 48 hours upon use. My finger had puncture wound that was getting red and infected, infection was gone after applying a generous amount and a bandage for two nights. Used it on my dog with allergy dermatitis, gone in three days! One can will last a very long time. A little goes a long ways!
