Works great

Our family has been using this salve for over 60 years. It is great for finger cracks in the winter, and any cut that is sore. It used to be sold in drug stores, so I was happy to get it from Amazon! It has analgesic qualities so it heals and takes pain away as well. The original purpose was for the cows teats as a treatment for their udders. Cant find anything else that works as good as this salve! I happen to be a little weird, because I love the smell! It doesnt bother me at all. You really dont need a lot of it for healing a cut or cracked fingers.

BEST SALVE EVER

We have used this product for at least 70 years. It heals scrapes and small wounds... and relieves pain at the site. Our uncle had a dairy farm back in the day, so we found out about the salve from him. Our family used to call it PAIN KING. We hope to never be without it. Grew up using this. Great for chapped skin, on minor cuts and splinters.

When I was a little girl my mother used this on cuts, burns, boils and many other things. There was a salesman that came around selling this and many other items. I continue to use this for forty years and always have it on hand and now I have my children using it. It does have a nasty Oder , but its worth it. I was not paid for doing this review as some are.

I grew up on this for whatever boo-boo I got skinned knees to some really bad cuts. Doesn’t burn it takes the soreness out heals without pain. My cousins got the burning spray the pink stuff more pain and the tears poured out! I got the tears from the incident but not from the first aid. Also there isn’t any Caine family drug involved. It’s pretty much an all natural soothing fix it all salve!

Our family loves and relies on Porter Salve, really takes the hurt out of small cuts and helps heal fast!

Great salve but really strong scent . I could smell it wrapped in plastic in a card board box!

It does smell medicinal but nothing that I would complain about. Glad to have a trusted ointment on hand for minor Owies as I am not one to run to the doctor much.
