> 24 hourOverall, a nice 7-port USB hub. Very happy with this product and the aluminum sides feels similar to some more expensive USB 3.0 hubs I purchased previously. Works fine out of the box and sits nicely on the desk. The transfer speed was good, as expected, and provides 15 Watts total spread out over the ports, so it should charge your devices effectively if you need that. The ports have a nice fit and the individual switches and indicator LEDs function properly. Would have no problem recommending this hub to a co-worker, friend or relative looking for a port with switches. The AC power supply cord runs 4 feet long, while the included USB cable that runs to your PC is 38 inches long. Will be using this mainly to plug in my array of flight simulator controllers, switches, panels, throttles, pedals, yoke, and so far it suits the level of connectivity and the option to turn each component on or off. The individual switches make this product a desirable choice.

> 24 hourThis hub will allow me to connect 7 more USB drives to a computer running Ubuntu Desktop 22.04. Ive connected three to it for now, all NVMes in USB enclosures, running in a software RAID0 configuration. The package comes with a data cable with both USB-C/A, which turned out to be very handy as this computer had already run out of USB-A ports, but still had a USB-C available.

> 24 hourThis is a solid, very fast USB hub that boasts USB-C speeds (I transferred a 1GB file in ~10secs) and has the convenience of having a built in usb-C to usb-A cord. It is powerful enough to charge my ipad (albeit slower than a direct ipad charger as youd expect). Each USB port has its own switch and LED light; the light blinks when data is being accessed which many may find useful to ensure no data is being transferred when unplugging a device; for me the flashing blue light was obnoxious as I had my mouse and keyboards plugged in so were constantly blinking. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with need of multiple USB ports. Again, the built in usb-c to usb-a 3.0 is super helpful. (note there is no SD card reader, attached photo is for size comparison).

> 24 hourThis USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. Its a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. Its rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products. Cons: I personally dont have any. Im quite happy with it.

> 24 hourI have a 4 port hub that I replaced with this - they are basically the same size. This is very compact, and well built. The sides are metal and very sturdy. It comes with the power adapter and cable that you need to use. It powered all of my devices just fine, and I got full speed on my USB drive transfers. This hub is great and easy to use, I highly recommend.

> 24 hourThis review is for: Powered USB Hub, RSHTECH 7 Port USB 3.0/USB C Hub Upgraded Version Aluminum USB Hub with 2-in-1 USB Cable,5V 3A Power Adapter and Individual Switches, USB Port Expander Hub for Laptop and PC, RSH-ST07 This is a great hub. Ive been using it since it arrived. All the ports work and its a nice touch to be able to turn them on and off individually. Its also nice that you can use either a USB C or a USB 3.0 port to plug it in because it has adapters built into it. Its powered, so not a passive hub. Lots of ports. Decent price. Hope this was helpful.

> 24 hourI am using this with my Dell laptop as it only has 2 USB ports but I have so much to plug in as far as mouse, keyboard, camera, speakers, microphone, printer, charging stand for phone and cooling fan/dock for laptop. This allows me to plug all those devices in without issue. Love the ability to turn them off and on with the push of a button if needed, say for example you JUST want to be extra cautious with your webcam and want to make sure no one can turn it on remotely? Press the button on the hub to turn power off to that device! LOVE it! Hub is compact and great design. Small power brick when is great. LOVE that you can plug it into your device using USB-3 OR USB-C! Thank you for this!

> 24 hourWow! I didnt realize how bad my USB speeds were until I bought this updated hub from RSHTECH. The speed comparisons are below and in the photo. I used the same disk drive for testing using Blackmagic Disk test on my iMac. The photo shows both new and old USB hubs. I like the fact that its smaller with incredibly improved speeds. Each USB port can be individually enabled/disabled. Highly recommend this for a reasonably (low priced) upgrade. A really awesome 7 port USB Hub. NEW USB 3.0 Speeds: Write: 175.7 MB/s Read: 178.6 MB/s OLD USB hub: Write: 39.2 MB/s Read: 39.9 MB/s

> 24 hourMy primary reason for snagging this was the fact that I have a game controller I dont keep plugged in all the time. When I do plug it in, it causes a set of external hard drives to briefly drop and return. This, with its independent power supply, has solved that issue. I do like the option of using either USB-C or USB-A to tie in. I opted for the C plug because adapters be funny sometimes. I do wish the included cords were 5 instead of 3.3, or at least the power cord. Made do with what I had onhand though. Long as it holds up over time, Im happy.
