I bought 4 to try, then reordered 16 more after discovering that these were exactly what I hoped for. They are VERY heavy duty...just what I needed to reinforce the vertical posts on my decks log railings. As often happens, I bought them on Amazon because I could not find the right product at my local hardware store or fleet store. Later I found a similar bracket at a hardware store, but priced $2 higher for each bracket. I dont know why these are called rustic farm house. They are just simple, flat iron. Very nice, but not rustic. Also, they seem to be way stronger than youd ever need for holding up a shelf...unless you want to put a bunch of car tires on a shelf.?

By reversing the angle, and having the L bracket go up the back of the mantel, it holds it very solidly and very hidden. Its a much easier way to install compared to the drilling of many holes in the back of a mantel, and trying to secure it. Just get the L brackets in a couple of studs

I was so impressed with this product. Not only are the brackets high quality, they send the wall anchors, screws for the brackets, even screws to attach the boards to the brackets and a small level in the box with the brackets. So worth the money spent.

Bought these to install some thick shelves in our kitchen remodel. They were simple to put up, very strong (we used leftover butcher block pieces to match our countertop so they had to be) and blessedly came with all the hardware we needed, and its actually quality screws! I cant tell you how nice that is. We used a combination of attaching to the studs in the wall and a set of drywall anchors and found we didnt need the fourth set of brackets, so we have two left over. My only wish was that they sold these in sets of two, but Im sure Ill use these extras somewhere else and the price was better than the local box store. Also we originally purchased the longer brackets with the hooked end but since they would not have worked for us we returned them, and it was easy and free to send them back. Very happy with these brackets and this company overall.

I am using them to mount a monitor in a special place

I used this bracket, turned up, to mount live edge walnut bar shelves. They are very high quality with a very tight bend. Nicely countersunk holes for the mounting hardware. The mounting hardware included is very heavy duty, not short screws or cheap wall anchors. Highly recommend this manufacturer.

Ive used different sizes of these Claimed Corner brackets around my house, along with trying similar styles from other brands on Amazon, and can say these are easily the best ones Ive seen on here. I have some of them supporting 7 foot long pantry shelving that holds heavy jars and other food products, with no bend in them at all. Youll want to space them closer together for heavier shelves is all. A couple of differences with these that set them apart are - they are not painted. They have a nice dark, almost black, natural finish that doesnt scratch away easily, and is very uniform but rustic looking. Other ones Ive tried have had sloppy paint that comes off easily. Also, the screw holes are already counter sunk so you get a nice flush finish when you put the included screws in. And speaking of, the screws are top-quality, strong, and they even include and extra one in each size. My only request is that theyd offer more sizes with them. Its be nice to have some that extend to 8 inches on both ends, and perhaps a smaller size as well. Otherwise a great product.

We made a shelf to put our DVD and satellite box on and I wanted some sturdy brackets with unobtrusive, clean lines. These are them. They work. No complaints.

Ordered a set of 6X4 brackets upon installation found a couple of brackets was a little over 90 degrees. I contacted Claimed Corner and they promptly refunded my purchase and instructed me to purchase again for replacement brackets. The second order arrived and problem resolved, we are very happy. We used 36 x 8 inch shelves from pottery barn in our new kitchen remodel along with Corner Claimed brackets, I highly recommend!
