The seems to work. My ophthalmologist said I have Age-related macular degeneration (Im 74). Over the last 19 months that I have been taking AREDS2, my last check-up showed a slight improvement in the ARMD, rather than a continuation of ARMD. My doctor said he was pleased with the results. I take two per day as my doctor suggested. There is no Flavor. I have no idea about the Absorbency. They just seem to work.

PreserVision Areds2 is a special vitamin that I have been advised to take by my Ophthalmologist because he saw the beginnings of macular degeneration in both eyes several years ago. I have been taken this product every day since then and see my Doctor twice a year for this issue. So far he hasnt seen any significant changes. Yay for me. Is it because Im taking Areds2? I would venture a guess to say yes. If your Doctor recommend s this product for MD or a similar eye issue, I recommend it highly.

As I opened the new bottle, orange color was coming off the soft gels, but it got worse over the month of use. Is this safe to use? Is it ok to keep it in a fridge and would it make a difference?
