My husband watched a quick video and had our iPad fixed in no time! Good quality and easy install!

everything went according to plan until after and my home button doesn’t work. When checked against the old screen there was a huge piece missing.

definitely need some other kind of adhesive. I was able to put it in its case to hold the grip until I get something to help to screen stick

Firstly, the install was not bad. Watched some instructional install videos to make sure I understood what to do. It did take me a while just because I took it slow and tried to be careful as my screen was shattered with glass crumbling - not a fault of the replacement screen. After the install, the screen did work but one thing I noticed was that the response time was a bit laggy. It take a 1/2 to 1 sec for the action to register. The ipad is used primarily as photo frame or display webcam so I dont touch the screen much but I could see how this would not be desirable if I actively used other apps. Also, after a couple of weeks the screen did start to lift up around the edges. I made sure I cleaned the frame surface well with razor/exacto and alcohol to remove old residue but it still did not seem to help. After several weeks, i ended up lifting the screen and carefully just applied superglue... Its held since. If it were not for those two faults, itd be great for the price and diy.

Had to buy additional double sided tape to make it work.

Update! August 2021 After 5 months it stop working! Not even a year! Downgrading from 5 stars to 3 My iPad mini had a broken screen for about 2 years (had a case and a screen protector) so I wouldn’t get cut using it. It was mostly for my 2yrs old son. It now started to act crazy and clicking things on its own and we didn’t know if it was the screen or something else; so we looked for a cheap screen replacement in case that is not it and we wouldn’t feel bad spending too much money. Let me tell you it works now! Replacement was nice and it provided all the necessary tools. If will need a heat gun, but I ended up using a hair dryer lol. Anyways, mission accomplish, thank you for a great product. PS” I don’t think the glue on the replacement is strong to stick for a long time; but since I use a case, it doesn’t matter.

It worked and saved me from spending $200+ on a replacement. Well, I dont think I have anything different to say about this product, however just take your time and use the right tools.. It took me about an hour and had no issues. Yes I would buy this again, I just hope I dont have too.

It’s fine. I mean it’s twenty dollars. But. Does not include any instuctions which I found very frustrating. I relied upon YouTube to figure it out — and noticed I needed a couple extra materials. Would I do it again..... ehhh I dunno.
