Race Face Chester Pedal

Easily the best flats on the market. Beautiful, durable and grippy as all heck. They dont look much different than the Fookers, but the feel is 10x better.

These peddles are amazing, they grip incredibly well. But as you can see I learnt the hard way on wearing the wrong shoes (that got wet and slipped after washing my bike). I’ve since shortened the pins by half, due the tread depth on my riding shoes, this offer just as much grip.

Look great! Easy to install, feels like they have good grip. let’s see how they perform!

I love the color! These are sold pedals. I have them in both bikes and ride trails with jumps constantly.

Been using the el cheapo $7 pedals that came with my new $1200 bike. Why the shop chose to go that route is mystery to me. Being a new bee, I didnt even realize how cheap the pedals were until I googled it. Upon some research, I bought these Raceface Chester ones. The difference is radical and I felt it. Even shaved off a good 15 minutes on my 30 miles biweekly ride. I was flying. Never thought a pedal is this important. Its like turbocharging your engine. Good investment that will revolutionize your riding experience. Hands down.

The pedals are good quality and look solid but the magenta leans more purple and less pink like the description picture which is unfortunate.

I went back and forth from Crankbrothers Stamp 1 large to Chesters, then to Stamp 1 small and finally back to Chesters. I loved the big platform on the Stamps learning to ride, but the pins simply dont stick to my mtb shoes like the Chesters after starting to ride rougher features. These grip my size 10s perfectly but I wouldnt recommend to anyone over size 12, might be too narrow. Sure the pins do hurt more, but their ability of keeping my feet locked in better has helped me avoid shin strikes in general.

These pedals make a world of a difference over my old worn plastic cleat pedals.

Pretty much the greatest mountain biking pedal ever made. Do yourself a favor and just buy two pairs.
