If youre looking to use tgis on a Uniden R3 AVOID ! The rj11 connector doesnt fit right and the unit will power off if you jiggle the wire or hit a pot hole. Look elsewhere!

At first I didnt think that this would work in my Escalade. But after finding the right fuse to attach it to it works perfectly. We use the heated steering wheel fuse. The little tools that come with it make it easy to tuck the wire out of sight. Now I dont have to pay someone $100 to install it for me.

This is a fantastic wiring kit. I got a kit a couple years ago and it was terrible with soldering needed and the wire was too short. This wire is plenty long, there’s several different quick connect attachments making install a breeze. This was wonderful. I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a Uniden R1!

Defective item. Does not work both on Uniden R3 and R4

I wanted a hardwire kit so I could free up my cigarette lighter outlet, this does not do that and is not what is described.

Easy peasy install. Effortless accessing a power source. Wire is well hidden and ready for use when I get in my truck.

I have used this kit on other vehicles. The add a circuit seems to work good on most vehicles, but may not work on some newer cars with odd fuses. Seems to be high quality and I have had no issues with the kits that have been installed. Overall, I would recommend this kit for your next install.

I have had two of these and both of them have shorted right at the RJ45 connector and now im out of the return window. Avoid this product.
