This is a great radio for its size. The FM sounds wonderful and getting great signal reports.

The channel up + button on the mic does not work. I have to use the - button to change channels in which case i have to scroll the channels all the way around to access my channel of choice.

Personal use, squelch confusing hard to use all else good

I had CBs installed in my home and all vehicles many years ago when they cost a lot of money and everyone was using them. I will be traveling by truck towing my motorcycle in a week and needed a means of communication with the other members of my group. When I first plugged this in I was a little disappointed because controlling squelch and other functions is not just turning a knob but a two step process using the channel buttons. But after my 11 year old explained it to me Im fine. The mic connection looks a bit weak but it is working. We installed a 28 inch antenna and I did not hear anything. I expected to hear a lot of chatter - nothing. Then while riding my bike and my husband and grandson in the truck we started talking and even from a 3 mile distance we could hear each other great. This unit is very small, fits great in the front of my truck. I recommend it.

As best i can tell the radio transmits but does not receive. I have tried all troubleshooting but nothing works. I contacted Radioddity directly and requested warranty service. The included in the email the type of antenna I had it hooked to and all the troubleshooting steps I had taken in order to confirm that the radio would not receive. Their customer service responded within 24 hours and advised that they would pass the request on to their service department. The next email I got requested a video of operating the radio (which I thought was a bit odd). I provided the video showing all setting and then actual operation of the radio itself. I have received one other response from customer service saying that they are not getting any response from their own service department. So at this point it has been over two weeks with no response and the radio will not even serve as a decent door stop. **The radios MIGHT be ok but the warranty is worthless.

Ive got it in my Jeep Gran Cherokee connected to a roof-top President (great product) pre-tuned antenna. The radio is a little bigger than a deck-of-cards! This little radio gets-out! I just talked to a trucker three miles out from our VERY hilly town. Adjusting the squelch, etc., takes a little getting used and, Im not quite there yet. It was simple to set-up. It plugs into a like-cigarette lighter outlet. Im a little concerned of the mike connection... well see how that lasts; its really nothing more than an oversized modular telephone-jack. But, so far - so good!

Radioddity customer service gets a rave review here. After trying multiple times to get sound to come from the radios speaker, I wrote an email for help to Radioddity customer service. After a couple exchanges, they suggested I send the radio back and they would provide me with a new one. This all went without a hitch. New radio works great! The only reason they get 4 stars overall is that this little hassle could have been avoided with a little better quality control. But, Im happy in the end.

Sooooo tiny!!! But it’s got power. It’s no cobra 25 but it’s a great radio for its size. If you life in a poor cell reception area and you want a easy to install cb to talk to trucks or another cb equipped car this unit is perfect

Very nice compact CB radio, very nice metal construction , fits in small spaces
