15-04-2025I was very unhappy with this CB radio. Lot of noise and wouldnt transmit. I bought another brand that worked great to go on my ATV.

> 3 dayThe unit is small. Not user friendly. The mic is fixed and not replaceable. Squelch is a problem and xmit is quirky to say the least. If I cant get the bugs out itll be going back. Disappointed.

> 3 dayI purchased this unit for use in my RV for when were traveling. The unit is really small as everyone described & appears to be well made. The features are basic but its a good value for the money. The item Im really disappointed in & the reason for the 3 star rating is the microphone coiled cable. Its REALY, REALLY stiff! It feels like if you extend it more than a couple of inches it would pull the connector out of the radio. Yeah, its that stiff. I tried manually stretching it out several time to try & loosen it up, but no real change. I fixed the problem by replacing the coiled cable w/ an ethernet flat style cable with a RJ45 connector to go into the radio. Only 3 of the 8 wires plus the ground are used. Its flexible & easy to use now. I dont understand how the manufacturer could make a decent CB radio & stick a crappy microphone cable on it. Update 12/22/22: I was contacted very quickly by the manufacturer concerning the problem I was having with the microphone cable on the CB radio and that has been resolved. Ive updated my review to reflect their very prompt response. Thank you.

> 3 dayPerfect for small off-road rigs like a Jeep Wrangler or Samurai. When cabin space is a premium but you desire CB communication this is the way to go!

> 3 dayGood CB Radio, nothing complicated about it as far as functions go. I would recomend it for offroad trail communication. I would also recomend adding an external speaker or using your car speakers with an aux cord as it is slightly hard to hear if theres a lot of road noise.

> 3 daySo far so good. Simple radio with modern features. Everything works. Strong build. I cut the cigarette lighter plug and wired directly to the posts in my Freightliner. A small radio in size. Pretty decent speaker. Change channels with microphone. No option for different micrphones because of the plug.

> 3 dayIve got it in my Jeep Gran Cherokee connected to a roof-top President (great product) pre-tuned antenna. The radio is a little bigger than a deck-of-cards! This little radio gets-out! I just talked to a trucker three miles out from our VERY hilly town. Adjusting the squelch, etc., takes a little getting used and, Im not quite there yet. It was simple to set-up. It plugs into a like-cigarette lighter outlet. Im a little concerned of the mike connection... well see how that lasts; its really nothing more than an oversized modular telephone-jack. But, so far - so good!

> 3 dayI’m extremely happy with this radio and was shocked at how small it truly was the pictures don’t do it any justice I love the tactile feel of all the buttons and the nice volume knob my only complaint is I wish it had a squelch knob instead of squelch settings overall I believe the price of this is well worth it for as high-quality of a radio that you get. This radio would be perfect if you have a car with not much space or you just want to have a compact radio that won’t get in the way
