I have had ulnar nerve entrapment at the shoulder since I broke my arm 3 years ago. I have done countless hours of PT, I do yoga, I still do my nerve glides, but it pinches when I lay down. 4 days of using this thing has brought me relief. I almost can’t believe it. I have done 10 mins every day for 5 days and today it feels so much better. This is worth trying for sure if you have neck, shoulder or back pain. It really does work.

Works well but mine had a horrible stomach out the box and I thought it would go away but after a month I’m laying in my bed trying to find where this awful moldy mildew smell is coming from and I realized I brought this neck thing into my room yesterday. Replacing it with another one and hoping there’s no smell. Also I’ve bought a laptop riser and use my mouse lower to avoid lifting my shoulders so these have also helped with my neck and back pain. Oh and using the phone higher up instead of looking down all the time.

Ykes, started to notice the development of a forward head tilt and rounded shoulders posture (together with a creeping increase in the frequency and intensity of tension headaches!) — given the increasing amount of time having to spend in front of computer screens and personal devices, I can well imagine fast-forwarding 10 years down the road & seeing myself permanently locked in an exaggerated iHunch posture, with chronic neck pain & recurring brutal headaches! (omg, looking & feeling like my complaining grandpappy!) Countering this alarming health trajectory was the motivating factor behind the purchase of this traction device (as well as a multitude of other similar, but tested & returned, products) . Since receiving the Restcloud traction device, I have been using it for 3 times daily (approx. 10 mins each session) for the past 6 weeks... and my verdict, thus far? — its been really effective for me! When I first started out, my shoulder (esp. pec/scalene/levator scapulae muscles) were sooo darn tight, that even while lying supine my shoulders were still rolled forward — the muscular tension being so taut that it prevented the breadth of my entire upper back from lying appropriately flattened against the floor surface! Due to the amount of dysfunctional baseline tension, initial stretching sessions targeted to relax those habitually tense areas totally failed to feel comfortable or relaxing! Initially, while in the recommended stretch position, I could even feel my arms becoming mildly numb & tingly (probably caused by the brachial plexus being compressed by especially tight pectoralis minor muscles)! But I stayed disciplined with my self-prescribed daily stretching routine (plus, also kept extra focus on maintaining good posture habits throughout the day)... and now about 6 weeks later, I can totally feel a significant drop in the baseline level of dysfunctional tension being carried in my neck, shoulder, upper body areas! The personal results Ive gotten so far is enough to convince me into making stretching with the Restcloud traction device as part of a necessary, daily, well-being maintenance hygiene routine — just like brushing my teeth and eating a healthy breakfast! Stretching has been a no-brainer-easy & gentle process — I dont have to futz around with any complicated contraptions (omg, has anyone else experienced the fun of trying to work one of those neck traction hammock thingys???), nor get locked into some kind of time-suck routine! So you bet Im clearly a fan of this lil traction device. Hope this review helps other peeps trying to find effective countermeasures against their own iHunch related issues!...or maybe we should all just unite and collectively ditch our computers & personal devices?!? ;D (Usage Tip: to achieve an optimum shoulder tension release — I found it most effective to follow the stretching posture as depicted in the included direction-graphic, and to also CONSCIOUSLY focus on keeping the shoulders relaxed while at it)

Not sure this is a fix all for necks like they try and make it look like but it does stretch your neck and it feels good while your using it. The pressure point things on it do nothing.

I have neck and shoulder pain. I was skeptical at first but the first time I tried it I noticed a difference after 10 minites.

Saw the product on TikTok and purchased it. I get some little pops from my shoulder and it feels good to stretch the neck. Not a cure for anything but nice to add into my stretching routine.

I didnt think this could be the solution I was looking for but I was willing to give it a shot. The other options were the neck sling, which looks totally effective but something about hanging my head by the door urks me...and a vertical table, which Ive used and LOVE but its extra af (meaning I dont have space for that crazy contraption maybe when Im 50). Most importantly, I needed something portable. Man, am I happy this lil futuristic tsunami pillow exists (not its real name, I give it nicknames cus its just so cute and weird lookin!) Ill have to travel with it and have one in my life forever from here on out but its a sacrifice Im willing to make... What does it do for me/how do I use it? • it alleviates my neck, shoulder, and even lower back pain in a matter of 10-30 minutes. • At a minimum, I use it two times a week for 5-10 minutes (but usually longer if I have time) and just lay on the floor with it tucked under my neck and the base of it pressed into my shoulders. You take deep, thoughtful breaths and let your head drop back. As you breath youll feel your neck making space for the tension to pass through and be relieved. Make sure youre not tensing your shoulders, you will and thats ok, just catch yourself and really let yourself continue to fall into the stretch. BREATHING THROUGH THE TENSION IS THE MEDICINE. This pillow guides your spinal chord into alignment. Also pay attention to your how even your hips/pelvis will need to realign as you lay there. • this alone permits me to go to town as a side sleeper. • being that Im a side sleeper with double jointed shoulders that pop out of socket when I sleep, as well as a lower back disk herniation---for years, on the daily, Ive woken up with the most intense aches in my scapula, neck, and lower back. Its worse on weekdays when I work on a laptop and tilt my neck in a dumb way, but this pillow completely eradicated that pain in about 3 days after purchase. So we can all agree, IM OBSESSED. • if I dont use it weekly, my pain will return as my work habits and phone habits seem to force me into terrible posture :/ If my experience sounds like yours in any way, I highly recommend you try this product! It will change your sleep, spine and body for the better.
