After we have used iRobot Roomba for about 20 years, we saw robot mops on the market and found this one we think worth to try. We have used G8000 for about three weeks now and we are happy with it. The dry clean performance is similar to the robots we have used but the noise level is much lower. We don’t notice the sound even when we are on the same floor level. I think if we run two G8000 simultaneously the noise level still is less than one Roomba. It is a little smaller than Roomba but has two brushes. You can see from the picture the dirt collected from one 10 by 10 room. Cleaning the dirt bin is easier than other Robots. We also used the mop function, set the water level to the middle using the button on the remote. It also works well (the 2nd picture). We tried to do dry clean by removing the water bin, it works. The stair edge detection has no issue. The remote has enough control function for us so we didn’t use APPs. For improvement: the default suction power on the setting after first power-on should be the maximum level (I think it was set to the minimum level at our unit). We set the suction to max level using the remote. It works beautifully afterward. The remote is not described in the manual but is on the quick reference sheets.

BTW, the unit performed well It got stuck under reclining chairs four times and managed to untangle itself once. I put the magnetic tape on the entrance to the Florida room because it can easily get there, but no way it is going to come back from there. I finally let it do the appartment on its own and when I got back, it was stuck behind the couch. I had forgotten to move one of the end tables to cut off that route. The second time I tried, it went perfectly all around the condo and we found the unit back in its station. My floors look shinier and the unit picks up a lot. We used every day and are surprised at the amount of dust and hairs it picks up, and we dont have a cat. Very happy with the product. I got in touch with Tikon because I couldnt find replacement parts. Thet sent me a link that shows that it is in back order and that they should have the parts in 5 to 10 days.

I had purchased another brand of roomba a couple years ago and ended up returning it because I didnt like how that vacuum was bumping its way randomly in the room and how long it took to clean. I decided to give this one a try since now we are all working from home. This machine looks much slimer and neater than the other brand I had, the charging station is also smaller. It runs in a parallel pattern than can make sure that areas are reached and cleaned faster. I am also very pleased that for the price I am paying, I am also getting a mopping feature, you can set spot mopping and get tougher stains out. The mopping clothe is super easy to clean, I normally wash it a couple times during one cleaning session. I dont expect to replace my handheld with this vacuum 100% of the time, but this machine does give me a deeper cleaning, as it goes over the whole room reaching each corner and going under my furniture, while my handheld can be used to get the dust out right away whenever I need to pick up the debris. I guess it is also due to the size of the machine, I need to charge it after vacuuming each room, so I usually dont schedule the whole house in one day, which is fine with me. I have been using this machine for over 2 months now, overall, I am very pleased with this product and hope it lasts!

The main brush kept getting stuck but amazon accepted the return For what you pay, the vaccum is decent the wash less so. But overall i like it

I’ve been using this vacuum for 3 months and I’m overall happy with how well it works. Pros: Suction is good and has multiple levels. Mop works and has multiple levels. Mapping seems to work well and i haven’t had an issue with it missing spots (even though it doesn’t look like it is following any sort of plan). Easy to remove hair from brush. Works on my low pile area rug, no issues going from wood floor to carpet. Cons: It does seem to get stuck on a lot more then my iRobot did. I believe it’s because it’s a bit smaller so it can fit under counters and then gets stuck. And it really tries to shove itself in places it doesn’t fit. Because it’s gets stuck fairly often I usually don’t run it when I’m not home. Battery life could be better. It’s not terrible. I wish the mop mode had some sort of carpet sensor, I have to block off the rug when mopping. Overall I would buy this again and I’m happy with the purchase.

I had been using the cleaner for about 4 months now. I got to say that is almost perfect. Things I like: 1. The brushes are made in a way that long hair do not get caught on them like other brand cleaners, instead the hairs are moved and get caught by the roller under the unit and I think is better that way to prevent the Left/Right brushes to slow down or stop spinning. 2. The suction power is impressive while remaining relatively silence. I had much louder cleaners before this one. Im very pleased with the low noise. I can even using it on quiet nights. 3. The mop function works very nice and since this cleaner got mapping, it seems to cover most of the floor even when there are obstacles. I only wish I could use some detergent but since it says use clear water only, I had only used plain water and works well. 4. It got a large basket to gather the dust. 5. The water tank is relatively large enough to last several large rooms. 6. The mopping cloth can be remove and wash. 7. Since it got mapping, the cleaner can return to its base when got low battery, even when its very far away from the base. 8. The charge can last about 2 hrs approx. on max suction and it recharges relatively fast. 9. It got one Boundary strip and works nicely to avoid going to anywhere you do not want to. 10. It got a tiny brush hidden inside the unit for cleaning. 11. It got removeable filters. In General Im very pleased with this product and had helped me maintain my super big house clean. The only thing I would wish it got better is a better Wi-fi. It only support 2.4 Band and NOT 5.0 or 6.0, because of that I had not been able to use the app with it but so far it had done its job without it. People who are not very technological with phone apps can still use this unit very easy.

This is the best. A friend recommended and it had a 30% off coupon so the price was around $169. It mops -doesnt scrub, but it does a nice enough job. The vacuum I set on timer, I make sure everything is up and out of way and it does the whole area, helping our backs from sweeping a few times a day. You can set up pattern also- which i like.

This was a gift for my Mom and she is amazed how well it vacuums and mops her marble floor. When I told her the price, she was doubly amazed. It does a great job of picking up hair and dust from the floor. It doesnt replace her mop, but it does an awesome job at maintaining a squeeky clean floor. The phone APP is easy for me, not so easy for my Mom. Ideally, Id like the find vacuum function to sound an alarm and REPEAT this for one minute. And, to have a button on the remote do this. For now, she contacts me if she cant locate the vacuum. Im able to sound the alarm for her with my phone when its stuck under the furniture. Another area of improvement would be to have white magnet tape to steer the vacuum away from the floor cords. In this case, her floor is white so black tape on a white floor isnt aesthetic. I should mention that the mop function doesnt leave a pool of water on the floor when set to low. This is a plus for me because I dont want my parents slipping on water. The water streak dryed within one minute. The vacuum isnt quiet, and I am honestly am ok with this. I am able to know where it is within the house in the event it is stuck. And, I get alert messages on my phone when this happens. The have used the phone APP to locate the vacuum with its map function, but I havent mastered the orientation of the rooms cleaned. Another area of improvement would be to designate within the map function, what room is what. And, then to specify which room (or hallway) needs to be cleaned. For now, it cleans the whole floor, which it has been able to do successfully with a single charge. I would say one floor is 1700 sq ft. Overall, this has a perfect balance of features and price.

When I am away or too busy, this is good option to be my helper! It can vacuum and wipe and the same time! I can use everyday to keep my place clean! Charge fast!

I have been using this robot vac/mop for over a year and I am very pleased with it. My only real gripe is wishing the battery lasted longer other than that this is one of those purchases that I will never regret! LOL. It makes my days so much easier to let it run in the kitchen/bathroom and entryway
