Replaced an older solid set that finally gave out. While these are OK, they dont compare to the old ones in sturdiness. I have better luck using both hands to manuever logs, and that helps. This is an average product, at a decent price

It worked fine until the middle rivet loosened up about the second I used it for camping. It still serves its purpose but I would look for a different brand. My first one lasted a lot longer from another company but the middle rivet loosened on that one too. But lasted way longer. That seems to be the problem with this type of firewood tongs. I still have both and they work. But the first one I bought is really lose in the middle now and doesn’t hold the wood as good. I feel this will happen to this eventually as well. Overall, good product and a great product for campfires and fireplaces. Just wish they lasted longer.

Bought this for my husband because we have a fire 4 out of 7 nights almost year round. We have had for 9 months now and it’s still one of his most favorite gifts. Highly recommend!!
