We used it for the first time last night. So far so good. Seems to be well made and it folds up nicely.

These are the longest fire pit tongs I could find and I still wish they were longer. They work okay but I have to wear oven mits or gloves and turn my head in order to rearrange or place new logs on the fire.

Bought these several years ago. I have used them over 50 fires and left them outside 3 years straight in florida weather. They still work and look like new.

The tongs are sturdy and not too heavy. I have a small hand so I have to use two hands to hold it steadily. There are some scratches on several places of the tongs when they arrive - it reveals a black coating over some silver material. The weight and appearance suggests they are not made of wrought iron.

Like how sturdy they are when handling moderate size wood, long enough so dont need to get close

You are not going to pick up a huge log, but it helps to move them. Can handle medium and small logs easily. The articulated joints allow one handed operation, with a poker in the other.

I like the simplicity but hard to handle as it is rather small and narrow.
