19-04-2025I love these things. I bought these instead of ridiculously expense Raku tongs. I do Raku pottery and the great thing about these is you can put it inside pots and open it up and pick it up without damaging the pots. it is much better than grabbing a side with Raku tongs (which I have used) which can often break the pot. These things are great I would buy another pair as a backup but these things are holding up extremely well. 5 stars and I should get one for figuring that out!

> 3 dayWorks great to pick up and/or adjust logs already in the fire pit.

> 3 dayWe use this for beach fires. Its sturdy and allows you to pick up logs easily and place the where you want. Only complaint is its a bit stiff. Nothing a little WD-40 wont fix!

> 3 dayIts not fancy, its not super duty; but so far - so good. It works well paired with our fire pit.

> 3 dayIt worked fine until the middle rivet loosened up about the second I used it for camping. It still serves its purpose but I would look for a different brand. My first one lasted a lot longer from another company but the middle rivet loosened on that one too. But lasted way longer. That seems to be the problem with this type of firewood tongs. I still have both and they work. But the first one I bought is really lose in the middle now and doesn’t hold the wood as good. I feel this will happen to this eventually as well. Overall, good product and a great product for campfires and fireplaces. Just wish they lasted longer.

> 3 dayUsed it on campfire first time! Held up great. At first was hard to grab any thing but once you figured out how hard you had to Squeeze it worked out perfect..

> 3 dayLike how sturdy they are when handling moderate size wood, long enough so dont need to get close

> 3 dayYou are not going to pick up a huge log, but it helps to move them. Can handle medium and small logs easily. The articulated joints allow one handed operation, with a poker in the other.

> 3 dayHave only gotten to use it a couple of times but so far I like it. Dont know about durability yet but see no reason it wont last. One surprise was to discover that it folds in such a way that it is more compact, which helps even more with storage and thats important to me since I carry it in my motorhome. The only negative (and honestly its not a negative for me) that it might have is that the jaws dont allow you to pick up a big log...but I dont use those anyway because I bought this for my Solo Stove. For the price I dont think you can go wrong.

> 3 dayNice tongs and they do the job but not sure how long they will last as they are not are well built as some I have had. Time will tell
