Rothco Canvas Zipper Duffle Bag

Very well made and sturdy duffle bag. We bought the 50x30 size bag to replace a torn tent bag. The tent is a 6-person tent with a small screened porch on the end, so its a pretty large tent. This bag holds it with plenty of room to spare. I am about to order a second 50x30 bag because my husband thinks its big enough to hold our humongous 20x10, 12-person tent. I hope hes right!

The Rothco duffel bag 21x 36 is well made, stitching is solid, the zipper closure isnt YKK but its sturdy enough for my needs. My only complaint...the bag arrived damaged. It arrived in a plastic package and upon picking it up off my porch I immediately noticed a clean slice through the package. I knew it was the result of an over zealous worker at the delivery location or by the carrier (Amazon). I opened the package and my suspicion was confirmed. Near the zipper closure was a clean 3 slice lengthwise. I turned over the bag and found another on the opposite side approx. 3 in length. Disappointing? Yes, but I knew I could repair it. I stitched two patches using 800 denier material and its good as new. Should this deter you from purchasing this duffel bag? No, it was an accident. The bag is well worth the price. I didnt feel the need to return it considering I could repair it, and the bag would be used for camping. The patches actually give the bag character.

BIG quality duffel. Durable canvas with a nearly bomb-proof side zipper. I use it for a large roll up sleep pad to store in the closet and tote when I travel. It has great side handle and a handle at each end. Also D-rings at each end for a shoulder strap (not included). This is not a water resistant bag, but can be made so with some commercial scotch guard (TM). Compare prices of other products this was a great buy!

Ive been using this bag regularly for gigs hauling everything from mic stands, guitar stands cables, Amp stands etc. and this thing is bullet proof. I added a heavy duty padded strap that I cannibalized off a golf bag and this thing is now an essential tool for me. Zipper is wicked nice with no signs of stripping out and I put a lot of undue stress on that and other bags Ive had regularly strip out because of it. Also other bag material wears out and when you have even a small hole some important stuff can be lost - again this bag is showing zero signs of wear and dirt cheap. I usually get these from army surplus and pay about $25. These guys are totally reasonable. Highly recommend this product.

All I have done so far is pack my inflatable boat in it, but this bag is great! It seemed a little small at first, but once I started to put the boat and oars in it, it took everything with a little room to spare. Bag seems to be made out of a higher quality canvas material.

This appears to be heavy duty canvas, somewhere between 8 and 10 oz. It didnt have any weird smells and was folded nicely in the box. It is very large. You could fit a body in it. However, you would have to cut the body up. into pieces. I received the size smaller on the listing. I did not receive the size I ordered (25 x 42), which would have been large enough to fit a body cut in half once. If that isnt morbid enough, then you need to spend more time outdoors in the sun. I took away a star for that. I like the bag, though and so instead of contacting them, sending mine back, and getting the original ordered bag, Im just keeping it. Pros: Durable canvas, very large, long. Heavy duty zipper, handles on the end. Cons: No top carry handle or shoulder strap. You would need two people to carry the bag if it was full of stuff or else have to hold your arm way way up in the air, which would be awkward.

I purchased this bag to carry 25 American flags mounted on PVC pipe poles. These flags are held in honor of Veterans and their service to our country. They also provide support for the families who mourn them. I am a volunteer flag wagon driver. One of my brethren saw my bag and purchased one himself for the same purpose. This bag protects our flags from the elements.

This is a durable, good quality bag. I hauled 2 scooters on an airplane in checked baggage and it held up well. No tears, rips and the zipper is awesome! Does not come with an over the shoulder strap.

I use this bag for my riot response gear for my job as a correctional officer it fits an extra uniform boots body armor gasmask helmet and baton with room to spare. For the price Ive yet to find a better bag the zippers are robust and the bag is thick canvas. Great option

I use this duffel bag to tote baseball equipment. Very durable. Only issue is it doesnt come with a shoulder strap.
