Greater than one weekThis ROYALAXE X ProtoArc R68 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, Hot-swappable Wired/Bluetooth 5.0 is a fantastic wireless keyboard that would make any mechanical keyboard enthusiast happy. My first impressions of this keyboard were from unboxing it and hooking it up to use for the first time, theres 3 options for connecting this keyboard, either wireless through Bluetooth, wireless with the included dongle, or wired which is self-explanatory. This keyboard has a great heft to it that allows it to sit in place as you bang out keys on the linear Gateron Yellow switches. Throughout this keyboard I kept finding things that impressed me, like how smooth the switches were, or how high of quality the keycaps were. Ive built my own mechanical keyboards before, and Ive bought premade keyboards from basically every big name or little name player on the market, and this keyboard just kept reaffirming decisions I wouldve made had I made this keyboard myself. Almost every bit of this keyboard is well thought out and remarkably high quality, from the hot swappable switches, to the silky-smooth feel of the lubed switches, all the way down to the well done lighting and other visual goodies. Ive never heard of this company before this keyboard, but Im certainly taking notice now that I have. This is one of the best prebuilt mechanical keyboards Ive tested or owned, and in fact its the keyboard Im using to write this review on. Another aspect that I havent touched on yet but is probably important to mention is the smaller footprint of this keyboard since its only got 68 keys instead of the much larger full-size keyboards that have every key and numpad. I feel like 68 keys is a great middle ground between the much larger keyboards and the very minimalist keyboards that Ive tried but just have never liked having to set up so many commonly used keys to macros or other workarounds. This keyboard has everything I tend to use frequently, and the smaller size allowed me some extra room on my desk which is quite nice. Overall, this is an exceptional keyboard that does pretty much everything right and has surprised me daily with how good it has been to use and just how fun it is to type on it, especially as someone who wasnt a fan of linear switches prior to using this keyboard. This is a top-notch keyboard that I would highly recommend to enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. 5/5 stars.

> 3 dayNo issues with the product itself. Issue was with manner of delivery. Keyboard came in just it’s original box. No outer box. Package was left outside in the pouring rain with no protection. Box was soaked. So far keyboard is functioning properly. Thankfully.

> 3 dayTD;LR This is a great value and will be purchasing additional ones for my daughters gaming setup and my office. When I ordered this keyboard all of the reviews besides one were vine reviews so I was skeptical about ordering it. The vine reviews were definitely correct, this keyboard is a phenomenal keyboard for the cost. It also does allow you to change the backlighting directly on the keyboard without added software, I had looked for this information but it didnt state it anywhere that I could see. Pros: It has 10 Key ( I ordered the Lava Brown108 version) and a standard layout which I needed for work The keycaps on it are a really nice texture and thickness The switches are really smooth and not super loud, which is my preference The keyboard itself is pretty heavy so it doesnt move while typing or gaming and it just makes me feel like its more of a quality build The colors of it match my WFH/Gaming setup perfectly and is very aesthetically pleasing The RGB lighting is great and with the software there are a ton of customizations and even changing them on the keyboard itself is easy and there are a ton of options Cons: I cant think of any Overall this is a great value and I am considering buying another one for when I have to work in office and my daughter requested one for her setup for Christmas. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a decently priced keyboard that is great straight out of the box.

> 3 dayI really like how small this keyboard is. It takes up, maybe a third of the space my last keyboard took up. I like that it doesnt have the number pad, which I never used. The button presses are really satisfying. Its a soft squish button, but it also lets you know the button was pressed. The lighting effects are a lot of fun! So many to choose from! If you dont like one, you can switch to another and find one that you like.

> 3 dayWe will not use all the features of this keyboard. We will keep the keyboard hardwired and never switch out keycaps. The keyboard is light weight and really well made in terms of material. It feels premium even though it isnt heavy like most customs. The PBT caps are all well finished and super nice feeling in terms of texture. Key presses were on the clacky side, mores o than I would have expected for the weight. Switches are decent. They do not have a ton of feedback, but are smooth, have good travel, and little play. This is a really easy recommend. You can always change the sound profile by modding the keyboard. It has decent access when opened. I like it as is.

> 3 dayEverything down to the packaging it arrived in was exceptional! The only real gripe i have is with the colour scheme- seeing as it isnt exactly flattering to look at. But other than that, Id give it 5 stars.

> 3 dayRight from the unboxing, you get the feeling of a premium product without the pricetag to match. Beautiful construction and high quality printing. Just a gorgeous little keyboard. I work from home and I have a Mac, PC, and Chromebook side by side. I also like to play PC games, so I was intrigued to try using one keyboard across my 3 operating systems. The wireless USB receiver went into the Mac, the USB cable went into the PC, and I set up the keyboard via Bluetooth on the Chromebook. Needless to say, it worked flawlessly. The biggest issue was remembering which hotkey connected to the correct platform. I started to miss my F key row after awhile simply from using them so much every day, so I dont think this setup is ideal for me but hey, its possible if thats what youre looking to do. As for gaming, its very responsive and I didnt enter any ghosting or missed inputs. The thock of each keystroke was satisfying to the ears and I swear I was typing faster at the end of the day. I hadnt tried any of the mechanical keyboards from Royalaxe, but Im definitely looking forward to seeing what else they put out.

> 3 dayI’m not sure how all these gamers are paying 2-4x the price for lower quality gear…I guess just for the brand name? Either way, this keyboard absolutely slaps. Key movement is perfectly dialed in for gamers.
