> 3 dayI got this neoprene to make to make a door sweep and keep out the cold air. It works fine but it stinks. As an engineer, I have used a large variety of elastomers but cannot remember one smelling this strongly. It is not too bad at the bottom of the door but I notice the extra piece when I walk by the shelf in the garage.

Greater than one weekI cant stand the odor coming from the rubber. I left it overnight in the garage hoping that the odor will be gone the following morning. I was wrong, the odor permeated all over the garage. I brought it outside under the sun. After two days, the odor is still there. Unfortunately, I already cut the rubber and used a portion of it. Otherwise, I will be returning it.

> 3 dayThese do the job but they have an intolerable odor. The closet I kept them with I developed a horrible smell. I wonder about the toxicity and off-fading of this product. I am throwing it away. Also the surface has a sandy, grainy feeling. Avoid…

> 3 dayThis gasket material worked like a ding dong for sealing the doors on an aluminum box that I built. This product will survive the sun, heat and weather for longer than I will live.

> 3 dayI expected this to smell badly because it’s rubber, but this is a lot worse than I thought. I’ve tried all the remedies for deodorizing that I found online, but the stench is still overpowering. Maybe if you are using outdoors or in a very large warehouse this would be ok, but if using indoors I would think twice before ordering.

> 3 dayWhat can I say, its a sheet of rubber, does what its supposed to do...but the smell! You want to open this outside and let it air out a while before using it. Glad to see there is a rating category for scent, dont know why there is an adhesion category, it doesnt have any adhesive. Dont know about the durability yet, will check back in 10 years or so.

> 3 daySmells absolutely horrible. Attempted to air it out for several days but it still stinks to high heaven. I cannot use it for the intended purpose because it would be indoors and the smell is too strong and off putting.

> 3 dayAs I hoped it would be. Thickness and durability and easily cut to length. One side of the roll has manufacturing blemishes but the other is flawless and protected with a plastic film. Used to protect scuffing from my dumbbells on a rack and works as I hoped it would.

> 3 dayI mean, its a rubber sheet, what are you expecting? Its solid neoprene rubber, its not a foam rubber, nitrile or silicone so dont get it for those applications. It has a strong odor as rubber will. Set it out to air out and itll be fine. No leeching of chemicals.
