Greater than one weekIve used these for around a year in a few applications and overall if youre looking for something low speed with radial only (no axial) load then these will probably be fine. Anything high speed (greater than around 200 rpm) will quickly destroy the bearings and anything with any axial load will quickly destroy the internal balls. I used these in a cnc router as guide for lead screws and the axial load destroyed them in less than 20 total hours of use.

> 3 dayI bought these bearings for the fan motor in my bathroom. I used a proper two-jaw puller to pull off the old bearings and to my surprise these new bearings just dropped right onto the shaft, even though I had to use a puller to pull them off. Once installed, they were pretty rough to turn over, which is fine because I expect the grease to have to melt and turn into oil to lubricate the balls themselves. Once installed, the motor was kind of hard starting, and once it was going it was extremely loud. Much more loud than the old bearings that were in there. I would not recommend these for use in a motor of any type, unless noise is not a factor.

Greater than one weekI did not use these in a skating application. I can not speak to their durability in that application. There were used in a spooler that required a set of 608 bearings that could simply roll smoothly at low speeds. All dimensions were within stated specs for 608 bearings. They come pre-greased in tubes of 10. No complaints and would order more for additional projects.

Greater than one weekThey seem loose and wobbly and many of the shields protecting the bearings from dirt are dinged up like they were installed by hand by someone in a hurry. A bearing should only spin and not move in other directions. I plan to use them for wheels on parts bins, so theyll work for that, but I wouldnt bother with them again.

> 3 dayEverything is great as far as value for the money and thickness. One thing that could improve is the movement. Doesn’t spin as easy as I thought it would. But I’m also not a pro when it comes to bearings.

> 3 dayFilled with some of the cheapest thickest grease they could get. Takes a ton of effort to get these spinning smooth. Cleaned out the grease with brake cleaner, and used an oil meant for ball bearings and they spin much better now, but nowhere near high quality bearings.

Greater than one weekHad to clean with WD-40 but after that they all spun freely no problem

> 3 dayThese bearings dont seem to spin as freely as I hoped. Not sure if its due to the amount of lubrication but these are not smooth at all. For example you could use them in a fidget spinner but dont expect it to actually spin. Very tight so for that Im rating it lower.

05-04-2025Im using these for 3D printing in the creation of Filament Spool holders. These are perfect with just the right amount of friction so that they roll nicely. I did not clean the bearings but used as is.

> 3 dayIf you have 608 bearings for guides these are great and priced right. You can replace every year for a very cheap investment.
