    Replaced a 1st gen WD non NVMe with this 980 and what a difference NVMe makes! Speed tested and they match as advertised. So far so good!

    Me encanta porque no se calienta tanto, mantiene las velocidades de escritura (cosa que normalmente no hacen la mayoría de los SSD), funciona perfectamente en Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS (WI-FI) con los dos Sistemas Operativos que le tengo instalados MacOS Monterey y Windows 10 Pro.

    ive been running my Ubuntu boot drive on a 1TB 980 for over a year now. recently, i started to see warnings:

    It was fine for the first month, then after that it became unusable. This SSD was my boot drive which means it had windows itself stored on it. Due to it failing, it got insanely slow, I mean it took 10 minutes to open the windows search menu if it didn’t crash first. If you have this SSD, there’s a chance it will either be the best investment you’ve ever made, or will be the worst tech product in your home.

    It works fast on my USB-C hub for my Galaxy Tablets. They only draw back is that it creates heat for huge data loads. Thats it!

    Install was easy for me who has just a few times opened my laptop up. Watching YouTube videos on your laptop or pc will help. Once cloned from my installed ssd my pc started up right away.
