SAMSUNG (MZ-V7E500BW) 970 EVO SSD 500GB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology, Black/Red

So the 512GB OEM SSD HD in my Apple 15 MBP mid-2014 was starting to fritz out (freezing and question mark folders) and unfortunately Apple still charges a $700 premium for replacement drives. Fortunately there are better alternatives out there. Paired this 1TB bad boy with a Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card for Upgrade 2013-2015 Year Macs(Not Fit Early 2013 MacBook Pro) and after 30 minutes of installation time (most of that time looking for my Torx 5) I was off to the races. Installation was easy and straightforward. High Sierra installer recognized it no problem. For the unsure, installation videos on You Tube.

This was very easy to install and works perfectly. The speeds are incredible and It was very easy to configure as an additional hard drive.

Exactly as advertised. Easy and fast. Switching from an ordinary SSD as my boot drive I have noticed little to no difference, however.

Got the ssd yesterday and installed it. Formatted, partd and copied my H/D to it.

like this option came with just this in the box and ready to use easy to install but if I think about it I should have gotten an HDD and SSD for more space but sorta slower speed.

I installed this SSD in my Alienware 17 R4 laptop and I am experiencing blistering fast speeds as promised. I havent performed any stress tests on it but this chewing gum sized SSD offers 1 TB of storage and speeds unheard of and I am very happy with the results.
