03-04-2025Easy to install, extremely fast and amazing for gaming, my PC boots all the way up and loads everything in about 10 seconds or less

Greater than one weekDetail is HP in their infinite wisdom required an M3 screw to tie it down to the motherboard. Basswood. Several trips to the hardware store. But it fits fine, M3 is the right size. Longer screws at store, so use a couple of bolts at the top to shorten. Some people though BIOS update required for it to be recognized, but not my case. Recognized as soon as PC turned on. BIOS AMI F.20 11/2/2017

08-04-2025Top notch brand and very competitive price. Not a single issue so far. Very fast but not so obvious if you come from a SATA SSD

03-04-2025This is a 1 TB SSD drive which means there are no mechanical parts and lots of memory. I have had other Samsung SSD drives on other computers without any problems.

Greater than one weekInstalled the Samsung 970 NVMe SSD 1TB in my Macbook A1398 yesterday. So far, so good – haven’t had a chance to test it hard in the real world, but my before and after read/write stats show an impressive improvement. Apple SSD - 1876/1255 vs. Samsung 970 - 3028/2572 (MB/Sec).
