> 24 hourIm using this for Time Machine backups on my mac. Its plugged into a USB Hub and just sits on my desk. Its very small, lightweight, and doesnt make any noise. Set and forget. I recommend it, as its a product that serves a purpose and doesnt get in the way.

> 24 hourI purchased this drive to upgrade my external portable USB3 HDD as that drive is starting to go bad as it has some bad sectors and as such got this drive so that i can store my backups and that is what I use it for. This drive is much faster than the USB3 portable HDD, so it takes less time to backup and restore to and from it.

> 24 hourThis is a Samsung electronics product so there is no surprise that it is fantastic. They included both a SUB cable and a USB-C cable, which demonstrates having a clue. Drives me nuts when manufacturers leave out the cables/batteries.

> 24 hourUltra portable and light. Included the cables I needed and transfers files at very good speeds. I have no problem using it with my Macbook Pro or Windows 10 PC.

> 24 hourI read the reviews and as some have said, when you are moving large amounts of data, it bottlenecks, gets hot and slows down to almost a stop (lowest it has gone so far is 300kb/s), yup, not MB’s. I only have 100GB’s to move and it says it needs another 22 hours. My other drive I want to back up has 450GB and it stayed 1 day+. So far I’m not impressed. And just an FYI, I’m using new computers with 3.1 2nd gen, and lightning ports.
