I bought this because I was running out of room on my HDD. Currently using this to store my Steam games and occasionally play the games off of it. Runs fine, game feels pretty smooth, setup was pretty quick and painless. Happy with purchase.

The Samsung T5 Protable SSD drive is a great storage device. It is compact and fits in your breast pocket or takes up almost no space in your briefcase or other carry bag. The read/write speed is fast and it handles media files with ease. I have two; one for data and the other for media. I carry both for use when necessary. And that they are SSD there is no need to worry about moving parts dying on you after a few months of use causing data loss or having to engage a professional recovery tool or technician. They are great devices! But do always regularly back up your files to another storage device as a precaution.

For a portable SSD this a great little unit. Physically, its much smaller than Id expected, which was a pleasant surprise, as was the quality of construction. Even better, the transfer rates are fast. Stepping up from old HDD externals or USB sticks, this unit transfers multi-GB video files in much short times. Not particularly cheap, but well worth the price.

Wow!!! I love this portable drive. It is so small compared to other external drives Ive owned...fits in a pocket or your laptop bag without taking up any room. Aside from the size the speed is outstanding. By far the fastest portable drive Ive ever used. It comes in a couple sizes...I went with the 1TB and cleaned up a lot of space on my internal drive with room to spare. Cant say enough good things about this drive.

So far this is a great SSD! I will purchase more!

Wanted to add some external storage to my PS5. Works really well and seamlessly, the reviews are true: apps here load almost as fast as the internal PS5 SSD. A higher speed SSD like the T7 isn’t necessary.

At least 2x as fast as typical USB drive. I use as local/sync drive Google Drive. Also very compact - about half the size of typical pocket drive.

1st off...fast & well packaged delivery. Using this as my Steam games drive. No numbers to share, but fast load times & great performance.
