Its been a good experience, I use the drive for time machine backups (MacBook Pro).

Unit came password protected, nothing will allow a bypass. Never had this problem with samsung before

Perfect for holding media

Samsung delivers another excellent external SSD. I own two T3s and one T5. I just point out to you that this is a European model and I discovered that if it needs service you have to pay for mailing it to and from the Netherlands. Still, fastest, best external SSD out there right now.

I purchased one of these new and since the price went up, I purchased one used and am now returning. The used one does not come with the system software that allows you to update the device and password protect. When you plug it in, it just opens a folder. Not the same as buying new and not worth the risk in my opinion!
