They always work. My TV wont take a jump drive larger than 16GB. There are perfect. I put different colored lanyards on them, & I do not get them mixed up.

Of course, the SanDisk Ultra flash drive can be used like any other USB key to very easily transfer and store data using a simple copy/cut and paste process. However, if you want to encrypt the USB key, you must first download the SanDisk SecureAccess software from Western Digitals website, then copy it from your computers download folder and paste it into the USB key directory. I couldnt find this crucial step anywhere in the instruction manual or the quick start manual (which also must be downloaded from the website). So, I wasted a lot of time on the weekend trying to figure out how to encrypt the USB key before ultimately contacting Western Digitals support personnel via their live chat when they were open again during the workweek. So, three dings on Ease of Use because of the very poor instructions for encrypting the flash drive.

Read speeds very fast at 138mb/s. But their write speeds, while starting over 25mb/s quickly slow to 12, then 10 then less. One of the better ones that wrote initially at over 12mb/s after a couple tests with h2testw.exe ver. 1.4, now tests at under 4 mb/s.

This was my third attempt to find flash drives to accommodate my needs. I had 5 gigs worth of photos that needed to be copied to flash drives. Two previous orders, nameless Chinese drives all had to be returned because they took hours to almost load the 5 gigs on 16 gig drives and then they wouldnt open. The SabDisk five each loaded the 5 gigs in about ten minutes and worked fine. Should have gone to SanDisk to begin with and the Chinese drives were not that much less expensive. I know everything comes from China and the only reason I refer to my previous purchases was because the only I.D. was the paper label that said made in China.

All OK. Need to reformat to NTSH for larger files

Works great. I used 4 of these as recovery sticks for 4 of my PCs. They do not seem to get hot like the 16g one do. So far I love them.

I have stored images, videos, and all sorts of data files on these, without a single glitch. I have shipped them to friends and family in the U.S. and overseas without issues. They are well-made and durable. The available space (unlike some drives Ive used) is nearly 100% of the full capacity. Good value.

You know what youre getting here. SanDisk is a good company. Great set for making some install drives.
