Love this product. Four stars only because I received mine with no screw top.

all my fish are happy now, its good, but in combine to this i also use the slime coat as well. so far no complaints,

Just a cap per week or two week, and the water is clear. Happy turtle, happy life... no wait thats not it ;)

This stuff is pretty much the gold standard, when it comes to treating your tap water, for aquarium use.

I bought this two years ago and has proved out very good, I do water changes once a week and always use this to help with over stocked tank.

When it came to choosing a water conditioner, I was absolutely clueless...so I researched and the one product that stood out above all the other was Seachem Prime. We live in then country and have well water, so we dont have to really worry about a lot of nasty things in our water that could harm our fish, but I still wanted to be safe and make sure theyd be okay.

Price went up I switched to API tap water does Same Less than half price , and does 9000 gallons at 8 bucks a bottle NOT 16 plus a bottle for prime, No sulfur smell and No reaction with skimmers, Sorry seachem, I switched over,

I honestly do not know if this works better than less expensive brands, but I do know that it does work, and the bottle lasts longer than less expensive brands.
