Seachem Prime Fresh and Saltwater Conditioner - Chemical Remover and Detoxifier 500 ml

The only thing that lowered very high amonia in my tank!! Life saver. I tried everything then ordered this. 50% water change and added four times regular dose (directions say in emergencies you can up up to 5 times). Overnight amonia went from dark dark green levels to yellow!

i decided to try this line of aquarium products because after reading the literature on it, it seemed the more innovative direction to take in striving for creating optimal turtle tank conditions. i have had great results with seachems purigen, which is a re-chargeable substitute for carbon in your aquarium filter.....if u inow turtles, they are very dirty and consequently, i was spending a great deal on carbon, which is really just a throw away after one use. anyhow, the prime product is used when u do water changes and when i first saw the size. the bottle, it seemed so small until i read the instructions....you only use a teaspoon for 50 gallons. the combination of the seachem products is resulting in better test results on my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels and i dont have to do as much maintenance on the filter and the tank it seems. i would heartily recommend this product and plan to continue on with ordering items in their line!!

Im a new aquarium owner and did the best I could on start up but two fish died leaving only my betta. I ordered Seachem Prime immediately after watching a youtube video that recommended it for cycling a tank and it arrived two days later. Almost Immediately upon adding it my betta became more active whereas before he stayed in one place at the top of the tank almost gasping for air. Ive ordered test strips but Im confident that my aquarium water quality is close to ideal. And you use so little this bottle will last forever! I have a 10 gallon tank and only used approximately 1/5 of a capful per the instructions. This product is definitely a must have for anyone looking to cycle a tank Immediately!

Works. First photo - directly after application. Nitrate was quite high. Second photo- after an additional cap full and 24 hrs later.

This stuff is super expensive if bought in the stores! I use it regularly for total water changes and partial as well. It arrived in time and was packaged in a box and also in a bag.

Best water conditioner ever! I use it on my fancy Discus, which are very sensitive fish. Been using their product for over 10 years.

Prime works great, but a little pricey for the volume I have to use. Seachem Safe (powder) does the same job for less money.
