Seachem Prime Fresh and Saltwater Conditioner - Chemical Remover and Detoxifier 500 ml

Working well for my 2 Fluval 5 gallon Beta tanks. I have tried many; some did not react well with my Betas. I use just a tiny bit in each tank, but the water stays clear and balanced. It does have an odd smell that I could do without, but you cant have it all.

Its the only thing I ever put in my tank water and have had happy healthy fish for years. Good stuff.

I’ve always liked this product for water preparation for my freshwater tanks. I’ve never had any problems. I got 500 ml size which is big and perfect. Great price at the time. $13 and some change. When in store they charge $11 for 250 so for 2 bucks more another 250 mls almost a 2for1

The product is good

As any aquarium hobbyist will tell you, this is the best water conditioner out there. It detoxes tap water and neutralizes ammonia in emergencies. Additionally, it is so concentrated that it will last a LONG time. One side note, since it neutralizes ammonia, if you are using a startup bacteria supplement, you will need to wait 24 hours after detoxing the water before adding the supplement.

This stuff is great! I take care of a 75g, 30g, and 5g freshwater tank and use it during every weekly water change. One 500ml bottle lasted me about 10 months on those tanks! Cant beat that. I also use this product in combination with seachem plant fertilizers.

Seachem is great because all their products are great for novice and veteran fishkeepers alike. When I was new to the hobby this definitely saved my butt since I foolishly started cycling a tank AFTER getting my fish. Prime, stability, and regular water changes ensured my fish and snails made it out of the cycling process with absolutely no issues at all.

One of the best products available to rapidly age water and make safe for tropical fish. Very concentrated - a little bit goes a long way.
