I use this when I do my half water Change. Keeps my fish healthy along side with the chlorine removal

I have used Seachem Stability to successfully cycle 2 aquariums now, as well as to restore filter health after medicating or after very large water changes. This product has always worked well to establish or keep my bacterial filter strong and I will continue to keep a bottle on hand for situations in the future. I use it in conjunction with Seachems Prime to turn ammonia into a form Stabilitys bacteria can use. I really like how you cannot overdose it, so when in doubt you can just throw a capful in there then test a few hours later. I love all of Seachems products and use their products exclusively in both of my tanks with plants, invertebrates, and all sorts of freshwater fish with no ill effects.

Have been using this for some time now and detected no changes to stabilizing water or improving tank stability. I still add it just in case - because I have terrible water problems and hope this helps with the water cycle. I notice no difference. Also for those cycling a tank - do NOT cycle with fish in it, a far better way is to use household ammonia instead of fish to start the cycle going. Look online for the exact amounts of ammonia to add each day - and you actually make the ammonia rise and fall multiple times along with the nitrites until your last dose cycles and both ammonia and nitrites are zero. At that point is when you want to do a water change to get rid of the left over nitrates and just generally get the aquarium ready for your fish. Make sure it is just plain ammonia, nothing with a detergent added. No risk to killing your fish or sacrificing cheap fish to cycle the tank - how cruel and stressful to the fish. My tank lost its cycle probably due to adding too many fish at once. but Stability didnt help - 2 months of trying to get it to cycle and its just now producing nitrates - I feel bad for my fish who have had to suffer through this - if you do have fish in your tank make sure you use Prime daily (they say 48 hrs but I did it daily to be safe). When my ammonia reach 8 ppm I purchased AmGuard which very slowly has help lowered my ammonia levels.

Stability is a great product to help quickly start your cycle. Cycle of a tank goes down to a week unstead if 6-8 weeks. Go slow adding fish still as the cycle is still new. Great product

I used this in combination with Prime to do an in fish cycle and it worked great. It gives you instructions on the bottle - to use for 7 days or something like that - but I just kept going with it while I slowly added fish and it worked great. I started with a freshly planted tank and all the levels were zeroed out (Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate). I would dose Prime and Stability and a pinch of fish food daily in the morning and run water tests at night. The logic is, Prime would safely neutralize any Ammonia for 24 hours (while keeping it available for beneficial bacteria as a food source) and Stability would ensure theres enough beneficial bacteria to consume the available Ammonia and Nitrite. After a day or two, I added a few Guppies for their hardiness, hungry appetites, and large bioloads. In the meantime, I continued dosing Prime and Stability daily. 25% water change after a week with levels still good with some traces of Nitrate. A few Corydoras added to minimize leftover food from decomposing. Still dosing Prime and Stability daily. Fish thriving, plants thriving, and trace amounts of Nitrate. Kept dosing, but in somewhat smaller amounts, only using the recommended dose when adding fish. Months in, all is well with no deaths and a perfectly cycled tank. During the whole process I never saw any Ammonia or Nitrites spikes, even when adding fish. The Prime would keep Ammonia in check. And dosing Stability would make sure theres enough beneficial bacteria to handle whatever levels are in the tank, even if it fluctuates. Great product! Definitely recommend as I do most Seachem products.

I was having a hard time getting my tank to cycle before the fish I ordered arrived in the mail. Because I was running out of time I ordered this product, started it on a Tuesday, put my fish in on a Saturday, and was done by the Monday. I just tested my water and have no ammonia or nitrates and between 5 and 10 ppm nitrates. You need to use the Prime with it every other day during the cycle (1 mL per 10 gallons) to bind any ammonia to make the tank safe for the fish while the tank is getting started. I would not have known this if I had not called Seachem support. Seachem support is AMAZING. So helpful. They explained how the products worked together and answered every single one of my questions, which there were many as this was my first fish. I recommend this product, but more I recommend this brand.

It works. I usually do the whole wait 1-3 week deal before even attempting to add fish. But I decided to try this product because I was in a hurry and it works. I fully tore down my tank and re-landscaped the entire aquarium AND made sure my water parameters were within freshwater normal range (GH, KH, pH, ect). I didnt clean the gravel because I wanted to at least keep some of the good bacteria in the tank somehow. I bought two cheap rosy reds within 24 hours of setting up my tank, and theyre still alive but they could be in better shape. The product works but the fish are definitely not 100% happy even if my water parameters are fine. I wouldnt recommend starting a new tank and using this product with delicate/sensitive fish like discus... I will stick to waiting at least 1-3 weeks before adding fish, like I used to. The product works, it just seems a little risky if youre going to buy expensive fish to start a new tank.
