To be fair I did not contact tech support. I put this on my guest network and had trouble getting it to work consistently. It would recognize some of the sensors but not all. I finally disconnected it.

The temperature/humidity probes can work with bluetooth without this hub, but you are limited by range of signal. This allows you to hook up to the internet and monitor anywhere in the world. If you want to use the SensorPush probes to alter you of deviations in parameters, you need this. Works great.

After a few hours of trying to get the WiFi Gateway working and then more time with tech support, it turns out that the unit doesnt work and needs to be replaced. It was purchased for a specific task that is time sensitive and we needed the WiFi to work now, not when they get around to replacing it. Extremely disappointing and makes it clear that this company doesnt understand either quality control or at least testing something before it leaves the factory. The sensor seems to work right, but requires someone to be nearby to monitor it, and that was not our intention. Amazon sells plenty of alternatives to this product. I strongly suggest you find another option and not this one.

I bought the gateway along with 6 sensors. The gateway was fulfilled by SensorPush and the sensors were fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon shorted me 2 sensors but I went ahead and set-up the 4 that I received on my Smartphone and programmed the gateway when I received it the following day. I currently have 8 sensors set-up in my house and they are working flawlessly. Ive checked temps away from home and the gateway works perfectly. SensorPush is an amazing product!!

I like my sensor, but they couldve easily added a sensor circuit to the gateway to allow pre-existing sensors to be tasked for other things. For instance, I travel for work in an RV travel trailer and if I bought a gateway with a sensor on-board I could place my current sensor outside and have the gateway+sensor inside to track both internal and external conditions and have instantaneous data to compare and be able to see them remotely while at work. The value of a the gateway isnt as high just being a Bluetooth handshake to wifi, IMO.

This product is fantastic for use in incubator and hatcher operations. We use them to quickly monitor and track our facilities from anywhere you have internet.

The product does what it supposed to do. I bought so I could monitor appliance temperatures when I’m out of town for extended periods (the bluetooth saves ~3 weeks of data, but I would gone for >1 month. I purchased mine April 1st, 2019. The last reading was May 5th, 2020 at 10:16am. About 13 months to failure. So now I get to buy another one. It’s so perfect you’d think the software bricks itself after 13 months.

I use sensor push to monitor temperatures in my refrigeration units as well as warehouses. Great tool for alerting you if something fails and temperature fall outside the parameters you sent of each senor. Has prevented loss of $$$ for me.

After losing a chest freezer full of meat I put these in all my deep freezers and fridge freezers. Now I can check temp from anywhere and get text alert if temp rises to 15 degrees. Very happy with purchase

This was my second SensorPush purchase. The hookup was very quick and easy and within minutes, our greenhouse was able to be remotely monitored for temperature and humidity. All with no monthly service fee! I did a lot of research on this type of device and this was the best value and turns out to be of the best quality! Additionally, when I bought a second unit, the owner of the company provided first class customer service. He spent a great deal of time trying to help me connect the unit to what was poor quality internet service. Regretfully, do to a internet firewall issue, we couldnt use this unit in this second location, but the experience with the company remained positive throughout the process. He also made the return process quick and simple. Thank you! A+++
