I’ve had this thing for a year to clean my two-story house. It has amazing suction, very versatile with its accessories, and a reliable battery life. Do not regret getting it as it has made my life much cleaner. I have four dogs who shed and it picks up pet hair like a dream. Highly recommend it!

Skip to bottom for breakdown on pros and cons. Overall good suctions. Just misleading on some things like battery life and bristles. So that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars since it’s a nearly $300 vacuum. Suction seems overall really good as of now, but does have bristles (that was a big thing for me for the hardwood floors), and battery life only runs for around 20 minutes when using it as a vacuum, it only lasts (via the manual) for 40 minutes when using it handheld. UPDATE: I vacuumed my whole house (all hardwoods & is roughly 1500 sq ft) without the battery dying. So that definitely was a good thing. Satisfied with that! Also hook your crevice tool, or other tools to the part that attaches to the head, and Bam you have a long crevice tool that can get pretty much anywhere! I received the vacuum today, and I will update review as I go if I need to. First impression was the box was simple. Looked very generic, and I wished it had an actual name instead of just model number. I also thought it would only have powerfins and no bristles since that’s how it’s pictured and advertised. IT HAS BRISTLES. They feel soft, and I’m watching how they do on my LVP flooring but that’s very misleading because I thought it was going to be just a soft silicone fin. I’m scared it’s going to scratch my flooring. It’s overall very light, and nice sleek look to it. I used it as soon as I got it for about 10 minutes on the LVP flooring I have. It sucked up pet hair and dirt that I couldn’t even see. Worked great. I’m very satisfied with the suction so far. I did plug it in to charge after it died (before the initial charge), and it has now been 2 hours and it still isn’t fully charged. I do wish it had quicker charging. So I decided to glance through the manual to make sure I’m doing everything right. In the manual, it states with hand vac it works for up to 40 minutes, but only 25 mins on bare floor, and only 20 mins during carpet mode. If you’re using the boost (it has a boost button which is nice) vac with handheld it only works for 10 minutes on a full battery. So I would say it would only last in boost mode for about 12 minutes on bare floors, and probably less on carpet since it’s half the time almost from the hand vac times. I do wished the battery life was longer, and it’s misleading when it says the vacuum lasts around 40 minutes on a full battery. I knew it wouldn’t always last 40 minutes with different modes and flooring, but I didn’t think using the actual vacuum in standard mode on hardwoods would cut that time in almost half, to 25 minutes. Disappointed in that. I do like the design, the boost button (hate how much time it cuts off the run time before the battery dies), and I think it does a good job overall with suction this far. I also love the LED lights. I think it’s a pretty good vacuum. Wished it would come with two batteries so you could charge one and have a backup. I have an almost 1500 square foot house with all LVP flooring & a dog that sheds. So I will definitely be testing this out over the next days to get accurate timing myself. Breakdown is — Pros: 1. The style/design is sleek 2. Easy empty container 3. Boost mode button 4. Powerfins (it does have bristles though. Pics are misleading) 5. Good suction this far 6. LED lights 7. Can change battery out (only comes with 1 though) 8. Pretty easy and convenient storage Cons: 1. Battery life (states 40 mins but that’s for hand vac, only 25 mins for bare floor and 20 carpets) 2. Charging time — it’s been over 2 hours and it still isn’t fully charged. 3. Has bristles, does have powerfins — but pictures makes it look like it doesn’t have bristles and only has powerfins. It has both. This was one of the main reasonings I ordered this one was because I felt like it was safer on my flooring. 4. No “name” — just a model number. And the packaging looks generic. Not like an almost $300 vacuum. Came in a cardboard box, with the vacuum inside a plain white box.

I would recommend it for anyone who wants to go cordless but doesnt want to pay the price for a Dyson. Pros: Works great on tile and wood. Love the bending feature for going under tables and chairs. Good on carpet and rugs if you vacuum regularly. Beater doesnt tangle with dog hair as advertised! Going cordless is great and is a time saver. Battery life is fine but we divide the chore - upstairs one day, downstairs another day. Cons: Will not stand up with battery connected-if you need to pause to move something you will have to lean it against something or lay it down. This is an annoyance that I can live with. 3 hours to fully charge battery. If you have a large area that uses the whole charge it would make sense to buy an extra battery just like you would for any cordless tool.

I have always been sceptical of cordless vacuums. But this one has great suction power and good battery life. Now everyone, even my 5 year old cleans up easy. Good buy. I wish it had more attachments, but I make do with what it came with.

Battery power: I was surprised at how little there was of it (how fast it runs out especially with power head and max suction. You might get 10 mins. Also the 3 bar life indicator is not as nice as a percentage mark and I wasn’t perceiving that would be a negative. If the battery was better I would have given it 5 stars. I also think it lacks a proper holder/ charger feature like dyson v series has. Pick up: The pick up is pretty good. It was keeping up with our 110v vacuum which is saying a lot. After vacuuming with the 110v unit, we vacuumed the carpet with the shark and it got more dust out. That said it definitely has less cfm airflow than sharks 110v model, so it’s not the most ideal for deep clean. I do like the convenience of not having to deal with a cord. 3. Overall pretty good for $300ish. If I prioritize the deepest clean I would have gotten a corded model. If I had needed more fancy convenience features I would have gotten their newest model, but this does almost the same job cheaper

I own 2 Dyson (which I love as well) however they are heavier and not as easy for me to get out to vacuum. I have some medical restraints and this vacuum is perfect for me. I keep it plugged into the charger, out of the way in my laundry room folded over and hardly noticeable and its so easy to just unplug from the charger and run it over small areas or all over. My home is about 1250 Sq FT and it will keep a charge through the whole house. The only reason I didnt give this a 5 star is because the vacuum doesnt stand up on its on if it is in the upright position, however its easy to just fold it over when stopping for any reason. I would recommend.

Love the ease of using this - wish I had bought one a long time ago! Because its a Shark, I know that its doing a great job! I feel like my house is SO MUCH CLEANER with this around - easy to grab and go for a quick touch up. Love that I can transition from hard floor to low carpet with switching a button and you can hear and see the power it has! Love the light on the front - helps me see what Im cleaning up! The broom and dustpan ARE GONE! I realize now how much dirt and dust and dog hair they were leaving behind. (yuck the first time I used the Shark and the light showed me all that - AND I CLEAN, but it didnt look like it THAT day.) 10 stars for me!

Ill start off by saying I was really, REALLY looking forward to this vacuum. I watched multiple video reviews about this vacuum and the DouClean tech, and I thought it seemed simply amazing, genius even, and figured it would be the best vacuum in the world. However, I quickly found there was one MAJOR flaw with this vacuum that completely ruins the whole thing: static shock. The static electricity buildup in the vacuum is immensely amplified due to the soft roller in the DouClean tech and there is no proper dispersion of this static electricity, leaving your hand to get shocked every few seconds when using it. The shocks seem to get stronger and stronger as well and by the 4th or 5th time this happened to me in a row, after just a few minutes of vacuuming, I was genuinely scared to use it any longer. My girlfriend wouldnt even touch the thing after getting shocked just once. So I stopped for a while, tried to charge it hoping that would ground it or something and get rid of the problem, but after multiple tries I just could not get the thing to stop shocking me. There is a tiny metal plate in the handle as well which is supposed to help with the static dispersion by keeping you grounded, but the thing is a complete joke. The plate is so tiny that 2 fingers will barely even fit on it at the same time and it is so flush with the handle that you have to hold it with a strong grip just to keep your fingers on it, making it almost stressful to vacuum knowing that as soon as you lift a finger youll get shocked. Then even when your fingers are on the plate firmly, it will still shock you from time to time! If the plate was like three times as long, twice as wide, and protruded from the handle like a fourth of an inch or so, it might not have been completely useless. I see this flaw as a MAJOR oversight, which could even end up causing a health problem for someone. The shocks hurt after just a few times, and they make using the vacuum incredibly uncomfortable and stressful. Like I said, I was really looking forward to this vacuum, and the DouClean tech and hair wrap removal fins did really seem to work wonderfully, but I just dont want to be in fear of getting shocked constantly while using this. I was incredibly disappointed and sad this had such a major flaw. If they ever make a new model or a change that fixes this issue, I would definitely try it again. But until then, I cannot recommend this vacuum to anyone.

This vacuum isnt perfect but performed well beyond my expectations. Its a million times better than my Dyson cordless. My only complaints/ cons are the battery life and lack of accessory storage. If you plan to use it on carpet, spend the extra money on a second battery. No static shock at all for me. The biggest complaint I read on here is static shock. I vacuumed my large carpeted bedroom twice with no issues. I even intentionally didnt touch the grounding bar on the handle with no shock at all. On the carpet setting and high suction, one pass in my large bedroom quickly brought the battery to 60%. I was able to do a second pass on the carpet, my large bathroom and stairs, both hard surfaces, all on high with a single battery. I was surprised to see how much power was lost on the carpet but my Dyson never worked on carpet at all even though it came with a carpet/ brush roller attachment. With only one carpeted room in my house, this will replace my traditional corded vacuum too. The two batteries are enough to do my entire 1500 sqft house with the suction on high and a single attachment for both carpet and hard surfaces. The hair free brush roller is a life saver! After two passes on the carpet, there were only a few of my wives hairs wrapped around the roller which were easily pulled off by hand. No more scissors to the brushes to cut half a head of hair off the rolled every other week. It would be nice to have a wall mount charger with tool storage like my Dyson has but its worth the trade off for a cordless vacuum that actually works. The Shark also has one handed tool change with the release button on the tool itself. Unlike the Dyson that requires both hands with the button being on the vacuum.

This is my first cordless vacuum and I will never go back to a cord!! Wow it is SO EASY to maneuver, the vacuum head will turn/pivot easily to make hard to reach angles accessible to vacuum. I read some reviews about the attachments not being included and I received all of my attachments. Nothing was missing and I can’t wait to use them to clean my car and baseboards!
